I learned that it IS possible to get a sunburn on a cloudy day. Especially if you pass out in a park.

I learned that AA is crippling my day game. I saw so many girls I wanted to approach while at school, but I couldn't bring myself to do it for one reason or another (all of them excuses). However, I did accomplish my goal this weekend to have fun and not fall into self pity mode when my friends talk about their sexual experiences and when I don't pick up that night. Also, I feel that I am slowly developing an abundance mentality despite the fact that I currently suck with women and get zero action.

I tried daygaming for the first time so I approached at least once every day. My body language and self confidence got really strong, to the point that random people on the street start smiling at me or approaching me without any apparent reason and in bars I practically don't need to buy drinks because people want me to have a sip of their drinks and start a conversation all the time. On the other hand, my conversation skills still suck and it will eventually die out after some minutes, also I'm missing the opportunities to convey sexual intent. I saw that it's best for approaching when you go out alone or in a group with other people that want to approach.

We should do this thread every week.

I learned that I text too much, too often, and I get pulled into High-School mode where I ask too many questions. I need to learn to limit myself and really space those texts out.

My first week in practice, second in community. Got a k-close during daygame, but I learned that even k-close doesn't guarantee a second date. Very receptive and compliant when we were together, but a flake during text game.

Edit: Nevermind, she responded after 3 day break and got the date, I guess my game was better than I fought :-D

I need to relax more.

While talking with a two-set they asked if I was nervous, I said I wasn't (I honestly wasn't at that point), asked if I seemed like I was nervous and they said I did.

I'm actually quite glad they said that because I really wasn't nervous and didn't know I came off that way, which could have really been bad for any of my future approaches if this was not pointed out to me.

Random thoughts: Bars are not my scene but coffee shops are fantastic spots for me. Day game is definitely more my style. I need to work on escalation. I can open with anyone, anytime, but going anywhere beyond that is where I fail. Biggest thing: I can't always be available, even if I actually am. Best thing to do is to actually BE busy but every now and then I might have to be "unavailable" just so the girl doesn't think I'm there for her every beck and call - only realized this week how many opportunities this has lost me in the past two years.

People want you to talk to them. Just because someone doesn't initiate conversation doesn't mean they're not interested. If you have good posture, smile, and speak with confidence there isn't anyone who isn't going to want to talk to you.

No one is too good for you. This week alone I'm going out/hanging out with two girls that I never thought I had a chance with a few months ago. Now I finally got myself in the mindset that I can get anyone I want, it's always worth a try.

Everyone has some insecurity in them, unless you're some Zen monk or something.

A girl that has always had the "self-empowered, independent, Ayn Rand" image melted like butter once I mentioned, "Yeah, I like a few different girls right now". Gotta talk to her soon though, I've been giving too much push and not enough pull.

Watch your alcohol intake.

Seriously, I totally blew what could have been an F-Close because my friend had to drag me out of the bar so I wouldn't end up driving home. He was just looking out for me and didn't realize he was snatching me out of the arms of a gorgeous girl, but nonetheless I went home in a cab alone instead of with someone else because I was too messed up to know the difference.

The bar had a special on shots, and after doing a few rounds with my buddies and buying more later for me and this girl, I got pretty sloshed way too fast. My game was still spot on, and I know she was still impressed with me, but I didn't even have time to grab her number before I was a mess.

So, learn from my experience, if your aim is to game and not to party, be very cautious about your drinking.

Thoughts from this weekend:

Make eye contact with everyone. If you arrive early enough (and are not shit faced), you actually start recognizing people as they do laps. Use this to your advantage with openers. It also helps cut down the bar's craziness, as you get a mental organization of the bar's patrons.

When the bar is empty or it's still early, it is good to go around and open people (doing a "lap"). However, once the bar gets really flowing, it can be AWESOME to just find a high traffic area in between the entrance and a bar spot. You can catch all the girls entering and run openers, as well as people getting drinks.

In my area, the prime bar time is 11:30-12:30. However, you should definitely approach far before 11:30 (11:30 is just when I find the most ladies start coming in). At 1-2AM, the bar ratio can turn sour (also, there are PLENTY of drunk AFCs wall flowering). However, depending on the bar, you can still find and open girls who are just entering the bar. If they are entering a new bar at 1:30, their previous place probably wasn't fun enough, so BRING THE FUN!

Self amusement is great for opening, but also keeping yourself in state when people respond rudely or poorly.

With a good amount of girls, you need to put forward 80% of the effort (80/20 rule) in the beginning.

If girls are on the dance floor dancing (but not directly dancing with eachother), they are often receptive to guys coming up to dance with them. However, you MUST BE PHYSICAL and close the dancing distance between you two when you open (enter their personal space). If you stay too far away, they'll lose interest, not realize you are dancing with them, or they will see you as a typical AFC who is too afraid to make the move. Be direct, assertive, physical.

What did I learn? That I just need to go out. I have no problem opening up to people, I just need to make the effort to put myself in a social environment.

I realized I have a hard time knowing wether or not the things I notice are IOIs. It might be linked with some low self esteem afterglow. I'm really good at text game tho, especially if I don't care wether or not I end up with the girl. So Outcome Independence rules, and I should assume attraction/not be attracted by friends.

My experience this week? I learned how valuable it is to immediately walk into the place and introduce yourself to the first set of girls you see whether or not you're interested in them. Just say hi, introduce yourself, remember their names, chat a bit and then excuse yourself and move on to the bar to get a drink and/or open another set. It helps to do the same thing to a group of dudes too. By the end of the night you know half the bar, you're completely relaxed and when you finally have a chance to talk to the girl you've had your eye on all night, your energy is through the roof, you've got tons of social proof and you're not afraid of anything.

I should probably try approaching from the front or side, not from the back. I should also figure out what to say after the opener. In my last set I opened ok, but then I was just standing there speechless.

This week has been utter shit for me. Did 3 approaches (2 day game, 1 night game) 2 gave me the BF line and one was not interested. All that is fine, its just I had the opportunity to do over 50 approaches and I only did 3. This has gotten me quite down this week. I feel like I'm regressing from half-AFC -> full AFC. The positive thing about it is that I recognize what I'm doing wrong, now it's time to fix it.
