What's wrong with this sub recently? We are here for seduction strategies and self-improvement, aren't we? Instead, most guys here seems to hide behind a screen (OLD, Insta, ...) and talk sh*t about traditional approaching.

Game can definitely be learned and I’d say is 80% social skills, but first you must be willing to take care of yourself in terms of appearance. Once you start exposing yourself to talking to women, you start to slowly progress. It gets easier the more you practice.

OLD requires game too. The name of the sub is “seduction” not cold approach. You can learn about how women’s brains work through the OLD stuff too. That being said, I do very well in person and suck at digital communication with no desire to really work on it, but it’s interesting to peruse nonetheless. I think what a lot of people fail to realize is there isn’t a one size fits all way to get what you want, just as all women aren’t going to respond the same way to any given method.

Having OLD game, Date game, knowing what the fuck you’re doing in the bedroom will bring you more options with women consistently than cold approach. As the other poster said, this is a seduction forum, not an approach forum.

Guys get up in their feelings about OLD because they don’t have initial success, but it’s just a tool you can use to your advantage, nothing more.

This will get downvoted, but hard facts. When you know what you’re doing with OLD it’s far more efficient for getting dates and having sex.

I’m saying this as someone who also believes day game should be utilized and is a skill an attractive man should have.

If this was 10 years ago, I’d agree that OLD is a very viable option but the way it is now I feel almost any other way is better. Today it’s mostly girls promoting onlyfans, begging for money through cash app, or just there to ‘chat’. So yeah there are some who are on there to meet up and you might be fit their sometimes delusional standards. Single moms out here wanting someone intelligent, charming, not boring, attractive, good job etc.

This is what I experienced for how I look, I’m sure someone more attractive will had better results. Now you do sometimes find gems which is why I still am on a few. I’be been hitting the gym lately so still in the process of improvement. So depending on what social skills you have, what you look like, your confidence level etc. I’d just use cold approach with online dating as a backup when you’re bored

The best advice I can give you, which I give all the time here, is stop talking to men about what women like, want, expect, etc & start listening & talking to women about what WOMEN look for, dislike, what they experience in their lives etc. I am an older man now, grew up with no internet & women were a mystery. All we had were Playboy & the like, where men who controlled the content created the ideas & male ideals of what women should be.

Most young people, men & women these days, grow up with access to all the porn they can get, but legitimate studies have shown that because we have very little sex ed, or education on things like mental health, healthy relationships, etc, combined with the unreal portrayal of sex & relationships in porn, both men & women, gay, bi or straight, all get pretty shitty ideas about what to expect, what to do, etc

But now, women write articles, blogs, have websites, post, discuss their experiences, their desires, their fears, anything you could want to know. While some men, take advantage of men's fear, ignorance & anxiety, by creating these fake personas of "seduction experts" & mislead men with either nonsense & literally the worst suggestions (like cold approaching random women) & you all argue with each other about who knows more. Some memorize the seduction guru nonsense, others use trial & error, but there will NEVER be a system that allows any one man to date or sleep with any woman on the planet.

Sure, there are social themes, there are similarities, there are social cues, etc, but even if I wrote down every detail of how I managed to date or sleep with every woman I've ever been with, if you are not me, that is unlikely to work for you, but even if we were really similar, the woman you pursue won't be the women I pursued.

The smartest thing you can do is pay more attention to what women share, listen to them, & not just like you see a woman post something, read it, & move on, read the comments too, and watch how the first woman makes the post & then just about every single woman who comments will share their similar experience, especially with men. And take note of when the random guy comments & tries to tell them they don't know what they are talking about.

When I was young, I was very successful with women, but now, with some age, some sobriety, some therapy, & real honest analyzation of my motives & behavior, all of my relationships with all the woman in my life are profoundly better, from my daughters & grandkids to exes, to friends, to some I don't really know.

And if there is 1 true piece of advice that is good for most women, its the less you act like most men, the more you'll shine.

I think that cold approach is disadvantaged if the girl hasn’t showed interest. I believe that cold approach is warranted to get out and not be scared to have conversations.. I typically don’t cold approach unless I get a Ioi indicator of interest then I can open without delay.

If you’re ignorant to it you’re ignorant to it but it’s still there. I CAN approach, and I have had success with women but I am good looking (albeit not very tall). This means I am in a position to cold approach, mostly daygame.

Some people are on another level and they sometimes just realize that their looks will make things really hard and bent about it. Nothing wrong with that but there’s just always gonna. e different tiers of men venting about different tiers of problems within the game and they’ll have to use different strategies to cope. top tier guys can cold approach anywhere, mid tier probably have to use more situational approaches and more daygame, low tier will need to stick to warm approaching socializing or maxing out their status. It’s all relative and i understand the people that complain, this shit ain’t easy, courtship in the animal kingdom is a life or death situation and is typically brutal for male species

There’s a post like this every day. I read what aligns with what I’m trying to get better at and can help me improve - and ignore the haters and noise…part of this process is not giving a shit what other people think as long as you want it, so it’s really quite simple
