Alright gang, I'm back, and I'm a little pissed. I've been seeing a ton of posts about "Met this girl. Sent her a text. She didn't respond. What do?" and "When should I text a girl after I get her number?", or even "Texted her a couple times, not sure how to proceed."

Let me start off by telling you a short story:

I've met literally hundreds of women. I've done cold approaches. I've meet women at clubs and bars, at the gym, at the mall, at bookstores, at grocery stores, and everywhere in between. I've been introduced to women via friends. I've been the wingman on a double/blind date (aka "Taken one for the team"), I've even had great success with online dating sites and Craigslist.

I've have NEVER, EVER met a woman via TEXT!

See, one of the things that I find attracts women too me is how easy I am to talk to. I'm charming, I'm witty, I'm sarcastic, I'm a bit of an ass, I'm a tease, and I'm a huge flirt, I give great advice, and I'm fairly even tempered.

And trying to convey any of that via text is REALLY REALLY hard. Why? Because a text doesn't convey voice tone, or inflection, or that hint of sarcasm. It doesn't convey that flirty tone or that subtle lacing of sex and sin.

Text is completely open to the interpretation of the reader. Want proof? Go back and reread this post, but this time, imagine it was written by Donald Duck. Changes things a bit doesn't it?

That said... if you want to talk to her, CALL HER!!! Let her hear your voice as often as possible. Let her get used to the sounds, let her hear the inflections, the subtle nuances, the hints of sex and sin.

Text's should be reserved for quick, brief, short interactions:

  • "In a meeting. Will call when done."

  • "Headed to the store. Need anything?"

  • "Running late. Be there in 15."

  • "Thinking of you. Have a good day."

NOT

  • "Hey"

  • "Hey"

  • "How are you?"

  • "Good. You?"

  • "Good. You in class?"

  • "Headed there now."

  • "Plans after?"

  • "No."

  • "Wanna get a drink?"

  • "Maybe. I'll text you when I get out of class."

  • "Okay. TTYS. Pay attention and try fantasize about me."

  • "Lolz."

Now, let's see that again, with a phone call:

"Hello?"

"Is it sad that just hearing you say "Hello" really turns me on?"

giggle "That's because you're such a hornball!"

"I know, right! I think I may need therapy. You should do your thesis on Auditory stimulation and it's direct correlation to sexual arousal. I could be you're case study. Come over after class and I'll rent "Love Potion #9" and we can figure out which sounds really get you in the mood. You know... for science!"

hahaha"For science, huh?"

"Yep. But seriously. I just got home from the store; I'm about to toss some steaks on the grill, pop some potatoes in the oven, and chill a six pack. But I think I'll wait for you to get here before the salad gets tossed."

"You are so nasty!"

"Yes... Yes I am. See you after class?"

smile"See you after class."

"Alright. Pay attention, learn stuff, and stay off Reddit!"

"hahaha"Now you're asking to much. Bye."

"Bye, beautiful."

Which interaction do you think has a higher probability of getting you laid?

Texts are weak. Texts are not alpha. Stimulating a woman's ear canal with your voice is alpha! Making her smile when she hears you say "Hello gorgeous." is alpha. Making her laugh when you ask "You sound winded. Rubbing one out to that picture I sent you?" is alpha.

Does texting have a place in relationships and seduction? Yes, but as a reserve, not a primary! You're most valuable tool when communicating with someone is your presence, and failing that, is your voice.

Consider this: When was the last time you heard a woman say "I want a man I can sit on the phone and TEXT with about anything until the wee hours of the morning."?

If she gave you her number, she wants to TALK to you. So talk!
