Earlier this year a guy I knew from high school asked me out via Facebook messenger. I thought of him back then as being one of the good ones so I was really flattered and said yes.

However, it was not to be. I did some research which I always do before a date to make sure they aren’t creeps or married. On his Facebook his status is set on single. He has no pictures of any women, nothing to indicate he is in a relationship. So I did some more digging.

I find out he is living with a gorgeous woman who has two kids (not his) and she has her status set to “in a relationship.” Every post she makes is about them together and is lovey dovey.

It was so disappointing realizing that he was just another shitty dude that cheats on his girlfriend. But the most disappointing part is the girlfriend. She is model pretty. She can have any man she wants, but for some ungodly reason she puts up with her man acting outta pocket like he single on social media. Why girl, why?!? Check their social media. Put your foot down girls.

Edit: Do any of you have any stories of exes hiding their relationship status on Facebook or other social media? How did they get away with that and how did you catch them?
