The way in which feminist treat rape is specifically designed to give women power over men, and to demoralise men.

By portraying rape as the worst possible thing that any human can do to another human, even worse than torture and murder, feminists can achieve several propaganda aims:

  • Rape becomes an uniquely horrible crime, that is almost exclusively perpetrated by men, with women as victims

  • Rape is a systematic way of oppressing the entire population of women, and is even a deliberate strategy employed by men to subjugate women

  • Rape completely destroys a woman's life and she can never recover

  • Rape deserves the harshest of punishments because it's the evilest of crimes

  • Even the slightest deviation from enthusiastic consent constitutes rape

  • Rape is extremely common, and most often committed by boyfriends and husbands

  • If a woman accuses a man of raping her, she is always right

  • If a man challenges any of these tropes, he is a rape apologist - or even a rapist himself.

Of course, the net effect of all these tropes is to demonise all men. It also puts men in an impossible position when it comes to sex, since they can never be sure they aren't raping a woman.

It also serves to give every women the power to destroy any man's life, at any time, with one phone call.

All of this is deliberate. Rape hysteria is a power-play by feminists.
