Stop apologizing for being a member of /r/MensRights. When a troll attacks this sub-reddit, consider it an opportunity to point out why men's rights is important. Stop apologizing for so-called "misogynists" here. It makes you look guilty when all you do is apologize. State the truth and don't worry about what trolls think about it. We will change nothing if we allow those who loathe men's rights to pressure us into silence and appeasement. Apologizing shows weakness. Be strong, stand up, hold your ground, state your case, and stop apologizing.

Edited to add some important replies to comments to clear up confusion:

There is absolutely no reason to respond to the accusations about supposed "misogynists" here at all, other than a quick mention that not every poster here represents the movement. No need to delve into it further. Dismiss it quickly and move on. The longer you talk about it the more you MAKE it an issue.

Then, immediately start discussing important men's rights issues and examples of important posts here, to show that this sub-reddit is dedicated to important issues, while ignoring the obvious attempts to troll by people who call us a bunch of misogynists.

It's as simple as saying "Every political sub-reddit has its share of radicals. Now let's talk about the issues."

Instead, people are dwelling on individual outspoken users and even acknowledging that it's a problem to anti-men's rights attackers. This is exactly what you should not do. It keeps the bogus discussion alive, and gives those who are trying to derail more sway. That is exactly what the trolls want.

Call out "misogyny" in our ranks all you want, but when people attack men's rights as a group by focusing on individuals, the correct strategy is to correctly point out this is a logical fallacy, that individuals do not represent the whole, and then push the men's rights agenda.

We can "police" ourselves just fine. But it is not our responsibility to respond to the demands of anti-men's rights individuals to lynch our own members. We should handle it internally. We do not answer to our enemies, we answer to ourselves.
