I am not sure if this has been addressed before, but it really bugs me. There seems to be a common theme in RP that, to me, doesn't make any sense. RP seems to believe that "Blue Pill" is somehow a mirror image of itself. A few examples;

  1. RP Men hold frame - BP only appease the opposite sex and back down when challenged all of the time

  2. RP hates all aspects of feminism - BP LOVES all aspects of feminism and agrees without question

  3. RPers know ALL women are "hypergamous" - BPers think NO women are and they are all nice

I find it interesting, because it seems the distinction of BluePill simply being not Redpill as opposed to the opposite of Redpill is lost on many RPers. There is a very large difference between a small change in words. Simply because someone doesn't agree with your worldview doesn't make them your mirror image. Not agreeing with one point is not the same as agreeing with the opposite viewpoint. You should refer to BP as not Redpill, since BP isn't some homogenous group. It's just a bunch of people who think your extreme viewpoints, and (mis)directed anger are, in a word, childish.

To address this using my previous examples

  1. RP Men hold frame - BP men are dormats

This is silly. You don't have to be RP to "hold frame" or have self-respect, but if you're not RP you realize that compromise is OK. People compromise on a daily basis. Life isn't a zero sum game where one person wins and the other loses. In fact, compromise brings many mutual beneficial outcomes, whether that be with your spouse/SO or with a co-worker. Just because someone is not RP doesn't mean they let other people, female or otherwise, walk all over them. The majority of people, RP or otherwise, do not advocate letting yourself get walked on or used. I've never met anyone who has said to me, "You need to let the woman you are with control your life and nag you." I have been taught to treat everyone with respect up until the point they do something to lose it.

  1. RP hates all aspects of feminism - BP LOVES all aspects of feminism, its outcomes, and agrees without question

While I think most RPers don't really understand feminism at its core, the idea that not Redpillers love all aspects of feminism is preposterous. Much like the civil rights movement, Feminism has brought about positive change in society for all people (not just the special interests they represent). However, much like the Civil Rights movement, there are factions which have misused the cause to further their own toxic and seemingly militant ideas. For the most part though, those ideas remain on the fringe. However, that being said, just because someone doesn't have a wholly negative view of the feminist movement doesn't mean they agree with everything. I don't agree with the fact that there is a bias in child custody cases in favor of mothers. (see here for empirical evidence). Either way, if you do believe the system is unfair, instead of having a negative attitude why not change it through actual political action instead of ranting and raving about how feminists want to destroy men?

  1. RPers know ALL women are "hypergamous" - BPers think NO women are and they are all nice

Again, this isn't true. People aren't all nice. Many people are vindictive and incapable of fully loving anyone. This isn't reserved specifically to women. People scheme and backstab to further their own selfish goals. People cheat and lie and steal. Again, none of this is specifically reserved for women. There are just shitty people in the world of all races, religions, colors, creed, sex, what have you. Have any RPers stopped to think maybe they just go after really shitty people and it's not that all people are shitty? It's a bit duplicitous to suggest that all women are a certain way and do not differ, but that men can be different from each other (alpha vs beta, which is a false dichotomy anyway, but alas, such a discussion is outside the scope of this post).

Anyway, I digress, to get back to my original point, people who are not Redpill don't believe all people, let alone women, are good, righteous, moral, and faithful. Most people do believe that women are allowed to make choices and be independent, but if this isn't the type of woman you are looking for, then don't go after them. The hatred and vitriol is really just a function of the amount of emotional investment you put into that relationship, but the fact of the matter is, I'm sure most RPers have had a best friend turn on them at least once in their life, it doesn't make you hate all other men.

On a side note, it is somewhat funny that the recruiting tactics of RedPill are extremely similar to those of most extreme ideological groups and street gangs.

  1. Find the disaffected, disillusioned, and angry

  2. Tell them you know just how they feel and make them feel "a part of something"

  3. Bring them in and give them something to point their anger at

  4. Justify that anger and any negative, even harmful, (re)actions to further your cause,

  5. Silence any dissenting opinion and tell people to "tow the line" or leave.

The issue with this is it's usually the people at the top who benefit while the foot soldiers are an expendable resource used as validation to those in power. It allows them to "get back" at those that have made them angry without putting themselves in the crossfire.

Those "in charge" seem to "freely" give out this "advice", so I'd really love to know what the motives of those in charge are? I mean, you aren't just giving away this "information" because you love your fellow man and feel bad. In the RP world, altruism doesn't exist. Why teach a man to fish when you could just soak up all that delicious Tuna on your own?
