Your resentful because you have lower standards than women. That might not make you a misogynist, but I do think it makes you misguided at the very least.

Besides, when I see couples on the street, or in my circle of friends, or anywhere really, I don't see very attractive guys with average girls. In fact, what I see is that women don't care THAT much about looks, and personality (thus including humor, confidence and charisma) and personal hygiene are so much more important.

So you're attracted to the most attractive women out there while you are admittedly average yourself. I think most women are attracted to most of the attractive men. You are not attracted to what's average either, as fat women are average. Men seem to want to imagine they're above average but let's face it, most people aren't. You're definitely right that, unlike men, women aren't naturally attracted to average men. While resentment probably isn't the most productive emotion for you to have, given what you have written you definitely don't appear misogynistic or entitled imo. It's hard to know reading just a single post of course.

You should be careful about your resentment however: women cannot help being solely attracted to the genetically,sexually fittest males (or "Chads" as they're called here) any more than males can help preferring young, fertile females. Resenting something that is so intrinsic of their nature could definitely turn into misogyny.

You seem to have a good understanding of the basics so after that I think it's just a matter of adapting your standards to your own situation and find the person who will reciprocate. Good luck in your search.

I would say you have some issues with entitlement, but I used to be resentful towards women in general due to issues with relationships, but in the end, it was always on me, and I knew that even when I was younger. So, I think you could be on your way to being one, but I wouldn't say you would be, but I also don't know you.

When you say something like 85÷ of women under 30 are attractive, 50% under 40, then presumably 35÷ of them have 'aged badly' between 25 and 35 and gotten significantly less attractive. Does this really happen? Does anyone know any woman in rl that was attractive at 25, but not at 35, or a celebrity perhaps?

There is one thing I hate about my fellow SJWs; we tend to label people in absolute terms based on whether they act or speak in ways that convey prejudice. If you say something sexist, you become a sexist person. Resentment toward women? Now you're a misogynist. Sure, some people worked hard to earn those label, flaming askfeminists or trolling the PPD or getting themselves gilded on TRP. But how fucking useful is it to slap inflexible labels on people and then shun those people based on said labels? Are we trying to deter people from being assholes? If so, I think differential reinforcement is far more effective than blanket social ostracism. Pick out the shit that isn't bullshit and acknowledge it, don't just dismiss people offhand. If there's a marked trend toward bullshit comments, that's also helpful to acknowledge, but deeming someone innately bigoted or toxic or deluded is less than useless.

So, in short, yeah, maybe you have been meeting the textbook definition of "misogynist", just based on your overall behavioral patterns, but, as Atlas said, what of it? There're days I probably meet that definition too. Don't let our definitions define you.

I would say that I resent women not so much because they don't see me (but, to be honest, it probably matters more than I'd like to admit). Rather, it's that I hear lies all the time that -- if taken at face value -- would suggest to a rational person that I should not be invisible to them. That is what makes me a misogynist: As a gender, I assume all women lie all the time because they can't seem to tell the truth about what is attractive.
