A number of posts lately have been devoted to addressing the issue of people who are simply trying to troll us. Some of them are posted by our own members trying to draw attention to our detractors, and others are by our detractors themselves. In the end, it is acting as a disruption to more important and on-topic issues.

These irrelevant hate filled subreddits do not deserve our attention nor are they worth engaging any further. They have proven they are merely trolling and spamming us. Engaging them is on par with fighting with Westboro Baptist and it only serves to distract us from our primary goal: Protecting and Restoring Men's Rights. To that end, we are updating the submission policy, as follows.

Rule Update:Directly linking to the following subreddits is now considered spamming.

Links to subreddits on this list and other subreddits designed to troll, ridicule or defame r/MensRights will be removed.

All links to those subreddits should be instead posted in /r/BigotryShowcase and lets keep the Men's Rights related stuff here.

FAQ

Q: OMG THIS IS CENSORSHIP! /ragequit!

A: There is a difference between censorship and directing traffic to the appropriate location.

Q: What will this accomplish?

A: This will likely be a fairly major blow to those subreddits who are relying on us for traffic and attention. If there are no people to feed the trolls, the trolls wither and die. We have more subscribers than all those subreddits combined. They are merely leeching off of the /r/mensrights rights subscriber base. I would encourage you all to un-subscribe from all of those subreddits as well.

Q: Is this for top level submissions or for comments within a thread?

A: Top level only. Links in comments will remain allowed. Screen shots are encouraged instead of links.

Q: I see a link to a listed subreddit. What do I do?

A: Click report. I check the modqueue quite often.

This isn't their platform.

Feedback? Love it? Hate it? Want to kill me? Lets hear it.

Edit: I got banned from /r/shitredditsays today.
