It is a really good read; the guy tried to beat the best poker pros in the world, specifically by raising the stakes to a point that he thought the pros' play might be affected by the high percentage of their collective assets in play. True story too.

If the guy is worth 6 billion I doubt he has 6 billion just lying around. That's his total worth. It's like if you had you are worth a million you might have a $750,000 house and $250,000 in stock and investments.

I think it's a play to get as much as possible but they don't think they are walking away with $5-15 billion

I'm not sure how this is a Men's rights issue. A single crazy woman demanding 83-250% of her husband's wealth in a divorce settlement is hardly an indicator of anything other than this particular woman's temperament. Furthermore notice it's what she's asking for in order to settle, not what a court determined is appropriate.

She's greedy, but you know, she wouldn't do something so bold if she didn't have leverage. You don't get to be worth $6 billion dollars because you're a reasonable guy. This guy made his fortune "by scooping up distressed assets at bargain prices" an already morally decrepit and predatory business strategy. She's just doing to him what he's done to plenty of other people. Trying to wring out as much money as possible from the victim's misfortune.

Plus, who knows whether the misconduct she's alleging is actually true. The courts will determine what is reasonable and what is sensible when they see the evidence. Not the knee jerk reaction of a couple of redditors upon reading the OP's headline.
