Thank you. My sister is a nurse and I live in Ontario, Canada. I sent ONA pictures of my injury along with my detailed report but she's working as a nurse again. They don't care. They didn't even address it with her (I would have heard through others, if they had done any sort of disciplinary action she would have flipped out and told our mom, mutual friends etc).

I didn't press charges on my sister, and I regret this. It's too late now. Police in my area don't care about women at all - whether it's domestic abuse, or r*pe, having your car stolen, being stalked. After being sexually assaulted, I had a female detective who berated me several times and I lost so much hope. Accused me of lying and told me if I think the investigation is stressful that I ought to buckle up because if it goes to court "he'll have lawyers and everything". We don't have advocates here. It's not right.

I had a 18month old stepdaughter in my 20s. I tried to discuss this with her because despite seeing her grandfather fairly regularly, she was not comfortable with him touching her. I'm going to leave details and whatnot out, but it was suspected he had been touching her inappropriately due to discomfort and redness on/in her gential area. He is a creepy mad and would always try to kiss me on the lips. I wasn't allowed to look at her vulva area despite being the only other female on our house. But, I had sat with her once and began explaining what good and bad touch is, and that people need to ask if they can hug her etc and that if anyyhibg feels bad, come tell me or her dad. Her dad flies into our convo, tells me to stop it, and he actually told me to shut up and mind my business. I thought he would be happy that I was trying to protect her.

He was not. He told me to watch my mouth with his kids. (but it was fine that I did everything else for them...🙃). He probably knows his dad is a sicko, because he was and likely still is.

I don't exactly like being a stepmom buy I still worry about those kids.
