Money and resources would become more of an incentive, including to men, and women who previously didn’t care much. We’d probably see more marriages of convenience. However, I do not think as much would change as some people assume. Hot people are still hot and not people are still not. Men will always like pretty women and women will always like strong men. Beauty standards may pull more ruggedly masculine for men and fuller-figured for women, as these are survival traits. People will still mostly date in their own socioeconomic class, especially as the divide between rich and poor gets bigger. People will continue to have fewer kids because they can’t afford them. Your crush still won’t like you. You won’t survive long enough to get to the consequence-free rape part. Etc. This is not a fantasy you want.

A lot of these thought experiments regress people back for some reason as though they haven't learned anything sense the last great civilizations collapsed. Comfort is king to our generations, so much so that people are willing to die before they stop mainlining mcdonalds or cigarettes or opoids. We are not conditioned for power struggle, we will simply fall in line to the first party that gives us reasonable hope to rebuild our creature comfort.

The idea that humans will go back to ever being wild is like expecting housedogs to become wolves again. It won't happen. We'll struggle, form a collective unit and rebuild some form of society almost immediately because we are adapted to it.

Ergo a very brief period of semi anarchy followed by an imideate rebuilding of organized society.

Probably like most post-societal-collapse movie scenarios: things will initially be a mix of organized chaos but then descend into full blown pandemonium.

Women will be the vulnerable party again and will have to pair up. Their male partners might be killed by more dominant men and they will be taken as spoils while providing sex and acting as bait to help ambush other people to survive. Those who don't comply would be raped and killed or killed and then raped.

People will do almost anything to survive and thats what the real world would look like outside of a society that provides everyone's needs.

I don't know honestly. The global trend seems to be isolation and avoidance.

Many people (men and women) are just saying "fuck it" and are living their own lives by themselves. They're also giving up the consumer dream of owning a home or even renting. So many people are starting to live in their cars, vans, or tents by themselves. Alternative living culture is growing.

Some people are trying to build self sustaining communities, but these people are all middleclass and wealthy individuals that can afford to spend hundreds of thousands or millions on land and development.

There seems to be a growing demographic of people who are apathetic and disinterested in dating and the ratrace in general.

People already marry mostly in their social class. I think that would simply become more skewed than it is with rich people marrying other rich people and poor people marrying other poor people

feudal ages in most places, men and women will be slaves. Small rich city states will survive with high tech medicine, lots of food, and research. It will be fascinating. I think after a few decades of a collapse and lots of humans dying in the chaos, countries will reform.

A societal collapse portends the end of political correctedness and mental illness mascarading as lifestyle choice. There will be two genders. There will be no liberals. The first groups of people who organize and can adequately defend themselves will thrive. Many will die due to lacking necessities, no medicines, no ventilators, dialysis etc. Men will rule.

This means that sexually, without abortion and contraception, the population will rebound. The weak will more or less be enslaved, killed, or starve. Polygamy, incest, and catamites, will be common. It will be a dangerous world for anyone who is isolated and defenseless, especially women and children.

I think atomisation will continue, people will become more isolated from one another, more fearful and distrustful. When intimate relations take place it will be more of a performance as learnt from movies, than an actual, genuine interaction.
