I'm not sure what the flair should be, so forgive me if I got it wrong.

I know of the dumb fox credo, however I came across a conundrum- I can't control my facial expressions so my emotions are out there.

Many talk about the resting bitch face. I have it. I don't mind being called scary at all, I'm actually proud of it and revel in the squirming of men.

But that is not what I'm concerned about. The problem is that I ALSO have a highly expressive face. When I get into contact with someone or when I observe something from a distance, I can't control my expressions (contrary to what I believed.) It’s either disgust, a perplexed thinking face, anger, an annoyed face, surprised face, etc etc.( my annoyed, anger, disgust facial expressions are much more quickly to materialize.) I can't control it. You can read EVERYTHING about my emotions from my face.

I can't hide it, which is frustrating because I have the resting bitch face on one hand when I am not focusing on people/ an event which rightfully scares strangers away, but on the other hand my overly expressive face just reveals everything I feel when engaging directly/indirectly with a situation.

This makes the FDS dumb fox credo very hard for me to emulate, or even in professional situations where I have to control my reactions very hard to do.

Practicing in front of a mirror didn't help because I get too self conscious and the expressions just get unnatural. Does any queens here have any advice/tips on how to control/ manage my emotions? There is a saying that you should never wear your heart on your sleeve, how do I not wear my emotions on my face?
