I guess the only way to change your height is leg lengthening surgery, but it's way too extreme imv.

Depending on one's height and how comfortable they're with it, they probably can have better outcome with just accepting it and learning to live with. Dating-wise they can compensate with other traits and look for women who don't care about height or can overlook it for them.

It's similar to any other visual "less than ideal" trait. Most people aren't models and won't be able to become one even if they pour lots of money into their appearance, plus, the majority doesn't have enough money to start with. It's pointless to obsess over it and if you have real hard time with living like this, I'd suggest therapy. Body dysmorphic disorder is a big thing these days.

30 year old 5 foot 4.5 male here. This type of thinking is really dumb. Sure some women don't like short guys, but so what. It's stupid to worry about it, all I see is short people crying on the internet about how "It's so HaRd to date".

I've been told I have a good looking face by women, I'm fit and in very good shape and I have a strong jawline. I have 6 pack abs and I'm under 10% body fat. I've had attractive married women who had tall, rich husbands try to sleep with me and I was short AND broke at the time.

Less attractive to many women, sure. Shoes or surgery.

A complete lack of self confidence, a defeatist mindset and being a perpetual victim are far bigger hurtles than being short. Get over those first, then worry about height. I've known many short, working class guys with smoking hot women. They were always fun happy guys with great social skills that treated their women well.

Its like fat girls with a great personality. People make up for their deficits.

Just don’t hit on tall women. There are plenty of couples where a guy is short but so is his girlfriend. Outside of dating apps women usually want a guy taller than themselves. But because of you guys being so insecure about your looks a lot of you are just fcking dicks and it’s not your height but your personality that lacks.

Surgery, shoes or insole that add 2 inches or 3 inches. Avoid any and all dating apps as they will ruin your self esteem even more. More warm approaches are you best option. Moving or just visiting to over seas to a country where the average height is shorter than your height or similar and try your dating luck there for example Thailand.

I’m 5’5 and I’ve always had a successful dating / sex life. My height has never stopped me from being able to seduce women I’m attracted to because I’m confident, I keep my body in great shape and I have very good communication skills, which is what allows men to successfully flirt with women and elicit lust.

It's going to be very difficult to 'change' height. The most common way would be shoe inserts, or if you're willing to go more extreme, surgery. Most other commenters have mentioned this already.

Just keep in mind that human height generally follows the normal distribution curve, that is, the vast majority of people are of a similar height. In the US, the centre of the normal distribution curve for male height is 5'8 - meaning there are 50% of men below this height. It is more difficult for shorter men to date, but I think the defeatist mindset is often more off-putting than actual height when you get to talk to a romantic prospect.
