Her reaction is unsurprising. A lot of guys have a gut reaction to this kind of thing that is about exacting revenge or beating the other guy up. It comes from a good place - wanting to protect the people you care about. The problem with it is that you’re wanting to meet violence with more violence. That makes some women very uncomfortable, and for good reason. She might wonder whether you’ll ever turn that on her. I once dumped a guy for this kind of reaction.

For a relationship worth saving, listen, be there, support her to go to the police and report, or get help from a community service org. Always ask for consent before you touch her (I want to hug you, but I don’t want you to feel uncomfortable, let me know what is okay). For a relationship where she already has a warrant out for her arrest - proceed with caution, or just call it a day. Guess it depends on what the warrant is for. Some unpaid fines? Some states are cruel with that shit. She hit someone? Time to check out and move on.

That seems super off and weird. People dont randomly barge into people’s apartments and attack them, my first reaction is that there is more to the story that she is hiding from you, and not giving a name seems to support that. I think you should get the whole story before proceeding

All I can tell you is that a lot of guys have gotten themselves into a whole lot of trouble over a woman who lied to them about being assaulted.

Also you should think long and hard about how she would know the name of a guy who allegedly "just walked into her place and beat her up".

This seems super complicated. First and foremost, you need to have superhuman patience about this.

Second, she needs to talk to someone about this. Maybe a friend of family member to start. Hopefully that person can see her and check that she's OK.

Third..... and this is tricky. My gut tells me something is off here. Like, who has some guy come in and assault them. Why did you wait that long to check? Does she work? I mean just literally none of this makes sense. This story has a thousand details that don't make sense or add up.

Given the information I have, if she won't let you in (also weird) then you need to get people over she knows that she will let in. You could do a police wellness check. But don't do that until you've had a conversation where she refuses everything. She needs to know it's happening.

Calling the POLICE is the main and only reasonable option. That said this can be risky if she is somehow involved with this guy and would cover for him. Many a Captain Save a Hoe got fucked over trying to save a woman from "The love of her life".
