I think they’re equivalent in, being a sexual strategy for their gender and they see dating is a game there to be won. They have different goals and so have different strategies to reach those goals.

I think they agree on a lot of stuff. But also disagree on a lot of stuff. And like all schools of thought have disagreements within their group.

I would say FDS is toxic and should be avoided, but the Red Pill is worse. They are both definitely bad but the red pill ideologies produce real world violence, while FDS ideologies generally just produce mean/lonely women

In some ways, yes. I used to follow it - I wasn’t deeply enmeshed. Just used it to keep myself on a better path following an abusive relationship. I can get behind their whole “become a high value woman - find a high value man” thing to an extent (possibly bc my version of “high value” is just being and seeking out a good person) but ultimately it seems to be about placing ourselves in the position that many men are in (superiority etc). Ig on the upside they tend to hold themselves to the same standard as the men they talk about having relationships with, which is imo better than the red pilled to some degree. So ig overall yes lol

They even use the same terms like "biological", "evolutionary", "high value", "low value", "female nature", etc. Run away from anyone who measures living beings in terms of "value" as if they were products, that's literally what psychopaths do. They're the same ideology as red pill, which is to say that they break down people into objects and rank them based on what they have deemed to be an objective value system, then try and foster a transactional relationship based on what they assume the one-size-fits-all monolith of the other gender wants.

My take. They're both born out of a similar kind of paranoia related to the opposite sex. FDS'ers are often wounded people who move through the world as though they have a target on their back. Every decision made in the dating process assumes the worst out of every man. They have no trust in their intuition which is why they need this rigid protocol. It's also reassuring for them to overemphasize what they believe to be men's ugly nature, and they regularly took material from TRP to strengthen this belief. Redpillers do the opposite of this, and move through the world with fearfulness too. The main difference is that since casual sex is often the goal, it doesn't manifest as much in their advice. But just take a look at what they say you should do in dating.

These groups are also both incredibly self-centered, and chasing after validation. The goal of the typical FDS'er is to bag a man who is an absolute winner in life, who dominates everyone around him except for her. It's not about him, but about the validation. They constantly affirm their right to engage in hypergamy. The TRP equivalent to this is the desire for an attractive female partner who denies herself to every man, except for him. Again, it's not about her, the person. But about what it says about him. Psychologically, the profiles barely differ. They all want to have their cake and eat it too.

Let me add though that 'women being choosers' is more often true than 'men being choosers'. It's important to recognize tendencies, and you can do this while adding nuance to your statements. But if you cannot recognize tendencies and will always fall back on 'humans are all different', your framework is completely useless. No one is going to listen to you if you don't have something to tell them about the opposite sex and some real, actionable advice for them. That's where the opponents of TRP, FDS, etc. often fall short. There is no need to end up on either extreme, we can notice and discuss patterns while also emphasizing the fact that many people do not manifest those patterns!

Both use self help to get members in.

Both then teach their members ways to manipulate and emotionally abuse partners and potential partners.

Both commodify potential partners.

Ultimately both are about control. They teach people who feel somewhat powerless to control others so that they feel in control.

While I don’t personally agree with every single thing FDS states, (And GREATLY disagree with the RP ideology, obviously.) what I have observed/seen, is that FDS champions girls and women acting in their own best interests (Rather than be man-centered/centric, which MANY girls and women are/are socially conditioned to be.) and to put themselves first, making the best moves/choices for themselves and their lives, whether one has a man or not, and on the other end, RP appears to be about objectifying and manipulating women into being/staying with them, OR manipulating women into sleeping with them. As many as possible. ^{^} FDS isn’t about doing that to men. It’s primarily about choosing the best partner possible if you are to have one, OR remaining single/being content single. (<< Which RP’ers seem to be rather incapable of doing.)

Yes, FDS says some harsh/merciless things about men, yet truthfully, it’s NOTHING compared to what I have seen, heard, and read of the RP’ers AND how men as a whole behave/treat girls and women, and the things they say about girls/women. Not even remotely close. So men can objectify and trash girls/women all day every day since the dawn of time, yet, if SOME girls/women come back swinging and deliver the same or similar heat back, they are THEN considered to be in the same category..?? LOL.

Anyone/any comment here, who thinks FDS and RP are in the the exact same category/league, or that FDS is “far worse”, I KNOW FOR A FACT hasn’t read or listened to enough FDS content, (Reading OTHER people’s misinformed, disdainful takes/thinkpieces about FDS, who ALSO didn’t read/research enough FDS content, most likely.) to justifiably form that opinion.

You may not like or agree with everything FDS stands for and states, yet, they ALWAYS have the best interest of girls and women at heart, FIRST. I’m more concerned for girls and women being helped and protected by FDS, than I’m concerned over being “called out” or how thought of by ANYONE who inaccurately clumps and vilifies FDS along with RP, or the most hilarious (and painfully inaccurate take, yet.) “female incels/femcels”.🤣

Yes, its the same thing, but formulated for the feminine experience.

At its core both ideologies frame relationships as competitive rather than cooperative. They use "motivational" rhetoric that is intended to make those that follow it feel self-empowered because they both target emotionally vulnerable people who have experienced rejection.

Hurt people hurt people, and the same style of distorted thinking that makes the Red Pill appealing to men makes FDS appealing to women. Distorted thinking is often associated with pain and trauma for a very good reason - its a coping mechanism.

It's a group with a fundamentally similar worldview to TRP only the roles are reversed. They are not a feminist group, since what they advocate is female supremacy rather than equality. Like TRP, they are essentially biological determinists in how they believe people should act according to ancient (and supposedly desirable) "biological roles" and neglecting to do so will have consequences.

Groups like these dehumanize all people by treating them as commodities and relationships as market transactions. FDS only serves to validate the irrational beliefs of men in TRP, which keeps them stuck in the cult mindset. FDS causes harm to feminism by being a group that manospherians can point to justify their straw-manned perspectives on the subject. It keeps this "battle-of-the-sexes" mentality alive.

Personally, I think the fact that FDS mirrors all the things terpers fear is somewhat suspicious. Does anyone know who actually runs FDS or whose idea it was? I think there is a real possibility that it was started with ulterior motives (possibly by men even) and took off as it began collecting wounded people.

FDS are women exactly as RP describes, and they're fucking proud of it. Men are just resources to them. They don't really acknowledge men as human beings.
