For the umpteenth fucking time.

No one cares if men want a lot of sex with a lot of women.

People care if they lie/deceive/manipulate women to achieve their end goal.

People care if they treat the women they sleep with like shit just because they don't want a relationship with them (e.g. "pump and dump").

It's not the promiscuity that society judges, it's the assholery.

Of the small amount of men that are capable of being very promiscuous in the first place, an even smaller amount of them are capable of being honest about the fact that they only want to sleep around while still getting the results they want. If a guy in this hypothetical is accused of exploiting women for their bodies, there’s a good chance it’s because that’s actually what he does.

Men will be much more receptive to a woman saying she’s only interested in casually sleeping with them. And that’s why they aren’t accused of manipulating men for their bodies. But a shortcut to getting casual sex without sacrificing results as a man is to manipulate. And everyone, men and women, is tempted to take the path of least resistance.

I'm pretty promiscuous. This isn't true.

Women are heartbroken when promiscuous men don't give them the commitment they want, and as a result promiscuous men are labelled as being malicious people("he's an asshole", "he treats women like objects and discards us after he's done", "he exploits and uses us for our bodies", etc).

I'm always adamant and upfront that I'm not looking for a relationship. You'd be surprised how many women respect and take that honesty with grace. No one says I ever led them on and they also appreciate the communication.

Nobody ever calls me an asshole unless they went against their better judgment despite my honesty and communication. When that's the case it doesn't really matter because being called an asshole doesn't even really mean anything. I don't care.

Even when they don't lie to women, they are attacked and criticized regardless because women feel entitled to commitment and they don't provide that. They are viewed as if they have wronged women by not having relationships with them.

I've never experienced this either. Again, honesty in those situations are always appreciated.

Now when I was a bit younger and would lie to women, sure. But under the pretense of honesty? I don't think you know what you're talking about here.

That said, being promiscuous I don't face nearly an ounce of ramifications that women do for having sex. I may face a minimal amount of judgment from people who are anti casual sex, but nobody's telling me that I'll never get married for it. No one's judging my character, ability to emotionally connect, slut shaming, or enacting sexual violence against me for "wanting it" based on my history or the way I dress.

Not all promiscuous men are liars and manipulators. The ones who are, sometimes get judged for it, as they should. The difference is that promiscuous women are judged even when they haven’t actually done anything wrong, whereas promiscuous men who are honest and not assholes to the women they hook up with, almost never are.

I see what you’re going for here, but I think the disconnect is that there can be some significant overlap (in actuality, and even more so in perception) between promiscuous men and men who obfuscate their intentions in order to sleep with women who are really looking for relationships.

YMMV, but in my experience promiscuous women are more likely to be up front about their expectation in that regard. I have also typically seen little negative impact on promiscuous men who are very transparent about their intentions.

The crux of your argument is semantic—you think “condemnation” is worse than “disgust.” Probably because you take criticism toward your “team” more personally, but objectively there’s little difference between the two.

The behaviors you attribute to a “stud” wouldn’t be criticized if the stud were honest and ethical about it. Nobody bats an eye at a manwhore who says he doesn’t want anything serious. The incompatible will move on, they might make jokes about fuckboys (Oh no! They’ll get treated like female sluts!) but society isn’t firing men who don’t want commitment or trying to pass morality-based legislation to “punish” studs.

And even if a guy is dishonest to get sex, the only person who will really hate him is the woman he lied to. Nobody’s going to try to change his behavior, just tell women to change their behavior to avoid guys like him. In that way, it’s pretty nice to be a promiscuous man: no consequences!

A guy who's slept with tons of women but who has paid for it is definitely not seen as a stud.

A guys who's slept with tons of unattractive women are also not seen as a stud either.

Stud as we know comes from a Stud Horse. Studs and their seeds are the most valuable. Females have a wider spread of value but are far more valuable than bottom males. Bottom males only value is the labor they provide.

This is true across nearly all mammals, the top males ability to sire is limited only by the number of females. While females ability to sire to limited by gestation period.

A promiscous man is seen as more bad because he's a player. He's not giving what women want - committment. Breaking girls' hearts even when he says upfront that he's not interested in relationships. We all know that most girls completely ignore red flags for guys they're crazy about, or they are aware of the drawbacks, but think they can "change him for the better".

While a promiscious woman is seen as a whore in modern society. But you have to keep in mind she'll get more passes because the society and media is predominantly pro-women than pro-male these days. So the argument that society is harsher on men is only because of the conditions under which western society operates.
