I would say the majority of young people are at least aware. I would estimate somewhere between 10-20% are actual practicing redpill or blackpill

I'm RP myself but I think more men practicing rp is bad for everyone in the long run. I don't think society is sustainable with most men being RP observant.

There are three different things going on.

There are men currently dating who are either on social media sites associated with the manosphere, or else following figures associated with it. The proportion of these guys has undeniably gone up and basically any search for metrics will show it.

In paralell to this there are social media groups and influencers that aren't associated with any of that, but have come to similar or equivalent conclusions. A lot of these are focused in the issues of a specific region or city or country, or an ethnic group, or some other narrower slice of the population where these problems happen. A lot of the remainder is people who are functionally identical to the incels or mgtow's but just don't want the label associated with them. These groups are probably also growing at a decent clip at a cursory glance.

Lastly you have the largest group by a good marrgin, which is just guys that come to the same conclusions as the first two groups through trial and error or cultural osmosis. You don't need a subreddit or an influencer to notice that some things work better than others and that not every conclusion you come to seems to be what the general public would like. I don't think your average fuckboy cares about what some dudes on reddit or twitter say and I don't think the guy noticing he doesn't need to bring flowers to get the girl has to either.

I'd guess the penetration rate of RP content is barely 1%. Higher in young people, lower in older people. Online communities (and echo chambers) make its members believe more people think the way they do. Hence the surprise that Trump won in 2016, or why people think the percentage of BIPOC people in the UK is much higher than it is, or any "chronically online" takes you see. If you go out into the real world you'll find that the overwhelming majority of people don't think this way.

Actual awareness of red pill/black pill concepts is pretty high in men under 30. Engagement with content is a lot lower, maybe 20-30% at most. Most guys get into a LTR and forget about it all.

Almost, if not all, men's self improvement gurus are fucking losers. If you've actually grown up around proper "chads", you'll be able to easily identify that half these red pill dudes would've been bullied in highschool.

Nearly none of them even work out or have a decent physique. If you compared any of them to some of the greatest men in history, you'd soon realize they're losers trying to scab money off insecure boys.

It's everywhere really. Even if they don't watch manosphere stuff themselves, it's very likely that he watches/listens/reads things that were influenced by the manosphere.

I even hear that in the gamer community there is a big red pill movement within it.

Manosphere is just socialized father/brotherhood. It has always existed. The reason why people get their panties in a twist about it is that it serves as an imperfect but very stubborn male refuge against modern feminism which has mostly successfully destroyed effective fatherhood.

I have dated in three major metropolitan areas and date zoomers 25 and older up until some millennials.

In my experience it's one in every ten who is obvious about it. Some are extreme (death threats, rape threats, rape implications, stalking, not taking rejection). Some are less extreme (snide generalization about women or tall men).

I do understand why so many women leave the apps. I stay on (when I have the apps active) because I keep reminding myself that 90% have been decent people even if some were ultimately incompatible.

I think apps can do better by making it a better environment for all genders and orientations by filtering out, moderating, and banning (and cross-banning on other platforms) bots, scammers, self-promoters, but especially stalkers, people who threaten rape and violence, et all. They'd also balance the gender ratios more and it would be better for their bottom line (almost the only way to incentivize the corporations).
