So many of us, myself included, have struggled with the concept of blocking and deleting. Some women have the urge to have the last word, some women just don't want to seem mean, and for others a combination of both or other factors.

There are some dating coaches, even some relatively decent ones, who believe that blocking and deleting appears a bit childish to the object of your affection or ex. That might be so. It might seem incredibly childish and petty to your ex. Who would want to slam those doors to CoMmUniCAtion? But really, who the fuck cares what it seems to an ex or someone who rejected you and especially someone who sends you unsolicited dick picks? Did he care about how he seemed to you when he rejected you or sent you a dick pic? No! We need to change the framing on this.

We don't want to seem like the bad person, but really what crime is being committed by blocking and deleting? You're just removing a person, and sometimes not even a real person from your life. You haven't shot or stolen from anyone. You're not abandoning a child (just because a man behaves like a child doesn't mean he is). You're just pulling up the drawbridge to your castle so that enemies can't get in.

If anyone has any B & D success stories, please share. I know they might not seem exciting because they're usually short, but they are heartening.
