Here's a running list of the issues we have documented with menslib over in /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates

They've often lied to downplay male issues, particularly false rape accusations which they claim are less prevalent than being struck by lightning. They also censored anyone who debunked those lies.
Though there are many things you're not allowed to debate on MensLib, one thing they do consider up for debate is whether "ironic" "cathartic" misandrist memes are okay. The answer should be obvious, particularly when MensLib constantly tells men to call out misogynist jokes.
They censored an article calling out a double-bind that feminism places on men.
They even tried to censor the news about Amber Heard being caught on tape confessing to violence against Johnny Depp (though they eventually allowed some limited discussion of it).
See here for some examples of very reasonable comments deleted by the MensLib mods.
They tend to make demonizing generalizations about other male advocates who they disagree with.
Apparently they once banned a male rape victim because he was angry at a feminist organization for not helping him. (I don't have an original source for this one, but here a moderator defended it as an isolated incident.)

And their thoughts on how men are trash.
They have some pretty racist and misandrist views on Indian men
To add further context to the point above, when an Indian man made a complaint about being unfairly stereotyped, he was essentially told to "fix the rape problem" in his culture and that his post was "unhelpful and also kind of selfish," because: "You're getting stereotyped. Women are afraid for their actual lives."
They hosted an AMA for a man who outright denied that male victims of domestic violence exist. With the goal of lecturing men on how terrible they are

On the bright side, all the top comments on that thread are people rightfully advising him to seek out a diagnosis for ADHD, as it's most likely this which is making him feel the way he does.

However, that thread is horrible. Look at how it starts:

He then goes on to say that he is this person. Like...christ. Why would you hate yourself so much that you put yourself into the bucket of "I must be shit, because I fit a stereotype that feminism has created"?

You might find this particular definition in feminism. Outside of feminism, you'll also find the stereotype of the hardworking man that puts everything he loves on hold to care for his family.

I do check menslib, because it is fun to revel in their idiocy. You could find some level headed people there to talk a few months back, but they are a dying breed nowadays.

There was another post with the title "Men's Liberation for the win" and the OP was that guy came and claimed menslib was more welcoming, while their stance on moderation is basically classic reddit style "one strike and you're out" with the intent of keeping their subreddit from derailing into something else.

Menslib's stance on moderation is this (courtesy of their mod delta_baryon):

Yes, no shit. It's not supposed to be safe for you to make other people feel uncomfortable. It's not safe to be transphobic here. It's not safe to spread misogyny here. When people make this argument, they never flip it around and consider whose safety they're willing to sacrifice in order to be allowed to say whatever they like. You focus on the freedom to tread on people's toes and don't consider the freedom not to have your toes trodden on.

You can't have a neutral space that's free to all in practice. You've got to decide on some level whose safety is important to you. It's very well explained by this anecdote by Twitter user u/iamragesparkle.

I was at a shitty crustpunk bar once getting an after-work beer. One of those shitholes where the bartenders clearly hate you. So the bartender and I were ignoring one another when someone sits next to me and he immediately says, "no. get out."

And the dude next to me says, "hey i'm not doing anything, i'm a paying customer." and the bartender reaches under the counter for a bat or something and says, "out. now." and the dude leaves, kind of yelling. And he was dressed in a punk uniform, I noticed

Anyway, I asked what that was about and the bartender was like, "you didn't see his vest but it was all nazi shit. Iron crosses and stuff. You get to recognize them."

And i was like, ohok and he continues.

"you have to nip it in the bud immediately. These guys come in and it's always a nice, polite one. And you serve them because you don't want to cause a scene. And then they become a regular and after awhile they bring a friend. And that dude is cool too.

And then THEY bring friends and the friends bring friends and they stop being cool and then you realize, oh shit, this is a Nazi bar now. And it's too late because they're entrenched and if you try to kick them out, they cause a PROBLEM. So you have to shut them down.

And i was like, 'oh damn.' and he said "yeah, you have to ignore their reasonable arguments because their end goal is to be terrible, awful people."

And then he went back to ignoring me. But I haven't forgotten that at all.

That's my final word on moderation in this thread. If you want to talk about the ins and outs of it, then modmail us.

Men's rights and feminism are pretty much incompatible. You either have one or the other.

Oh and also they ban criticism of feminism. This is like making a black people's rights group and saying "remember guys we are a pro-KKK community and any criticism of KKK are banned!"

Did you know they auto remove every single response? I have contacted them over it because every time i post there my reveddit plugin goes off.

When questioned their reply was:" No, that comment will not be approved because complaints about subreddit moderation belong in modmail. If you'd like to have a conversation with the mods about your posts being removed, message us about that topic directly."

I had posted saying goodbye, I am tired of missing conversations happening in real-time by six hours because it seems my posts take 'extra' long to approve.

They are so so worried about someone saying something other than their circle-jerking echochamber, that they auto remove all comments.

Saw one yesterday where someone said "its hard to have a conversation when the mods auto remove everything because it doesn't fit their message"

Was downvoted to hell, a mode replied about safe spaces and someone gilded it.

Like fuck me what a joke.

Wont be long before "You must include how you worship feminism daily and your favorite female author so we know you are a feminist ally in your comment"

It's more than likely that this joker has been reading 'Mediocre - The Dangerous Legacy of Male Power' by Ijeoma Oluo, and is totally unable to think for him/herself. This book is an utterly hateful piece of work, and would be banned if misandry were to be taken seriously. Not to mention its racist overtones. This isn't an advocacy for book-banning. An open and honest discussion would be preferable. However, that's only possible where both men and women enjoy equal legal protection. Presently, one sex can hide behind blanket accusations of misogyny, yet simultaneously stir up strong feelings against men, with impunity.
