As a preface, I’ve always been naturally red-pilled even before discovering it. I’ve always wanted a serious relationship/marriage and have not been interested in hookup culture or casual dating. I used to date more actively in my late teens and did go through a couple of breakups. I’m over these breakups as it was years ago.

About 1.5 years ago, I discovered the red pill. At first I was really turned off by it. Eventually, it started making sense to me and I accepted the “hard truths”. I made the mistake of reading the TRP sub and the things men were saying on there really broke my heart.

Now, I find it really hard to trust a man. I keep worrying I’m gonna accidentally end up with a guy who holds these views. I get worried that men will think I’m at the wall when I turn 23 and leave me for a younger girl. I get scared that someone is gonna turn me into a plate. These are all hypothetical situations but the idea of many men thinking this way is scaring me. Especially now with guys watching Andrew Tate and other podcast guys, it seems that a lot of guys think like this.

Every time I have a dating prospect, I get super anxious and pull away. I try my best to work on myself and hold myself up to a high standard but I’m worried that all guys think AWALT and will not appreciate my efforts to be a virtuous woman. I don’t mind being single but I do want a family one day and I recognize that I’m at my peak right now so I don’t have much time left to meet the one for me.

Sometimes I wish I could go back to the girl I was before the red pill. I was carefree, went with the flow when it came to dating. Now I’m uptight and anxious.

Has anyone experienced something like this? Any tips on getting over it?
