This thread's title is quite self-explanatory. It seems many manosphere writers have more insightful comments to say, however, they are often ignored.

While both Roosh and Tate got popular once they started to say offensive or shocking options. Which instead of making the manopshere look "good" it makes us look "bad." The whole "overtone" window comes into mind. But it makes the manosphere positions look "unthinkable." Given how the average person thinks that many of the positions Roosh or Tate hold are what the manosphere stands for.

It ends up being more like, "This is how you are not supposed to act." Like the Media Elites are making an example of them by becoming "straw men" for the movement.
