Something I've noticed is hot guys usually wind up with uglier girls or pretty hot girls but never really average girls. Wondering why this is so.

Because attractiveness is subjective. There is no objective "average", and not everyone finds the "Instagram model" attractive. And looks matter way less than reddit people claim.

Uhh no not really. I know girls who get "pointless crushes" they know will never go anywhere on hot guys (nothing wrong with that imo). I never see these average women thinking they can get with a hot popular boy past middle school. But that's just my experience.

Average women can usually still find relationships with men who are still attractive to them even if they aren’t the hottest. They have self-esteem because of this. Unattractive women often have little self-esteem and need validation. Even attractive men will have easy sex with women who don’t completely repulse them.

It is that fear of rejection: they self-reject out of fear of either being rejected straight up in front of their friends or after having sex once or few times and their friends finding out. They know they are not good enough for the hot guys. But they may have sex with them on holiday or another situation when other people won't find out.

It is all about protecting their ego and public image.

I was once a handsome young man. And I too often gone to the two extremes for relationships and I may have an answer.

It is because of willingness to be a positive in a man's life. Usually the women at the bottom and top of looks have some serious insecurities and it makes them work to make the life of their men better. While those in the middle have little willingness to be a positive to a mans life... so they arent.

Dont misunderstand, I am not saying all pretty women or ugly women are insecure or willing to be a posiive. But that a few of them are. And that makes them extremely attractive as LTR partners. As they will work for your benefit as a man.

Usually the pretty ones will just be a positive in and around being pretty, normal, and sociable, they will want to get your attention sure but will also drag you to parties, having fun, meeting people and all that jazz. Making them good all rounder gfs.

While the uglier ones just are what you want them to be. Depending on what you want they will play games with you, prepare good food and maybe even sucking your dick while you watch football. They are good submissive gfs.

The middle of the road women are way too interested in themselves to actually provide much for their men, so they often are let go when you actually have a choice.
