Some are. Few. Most have a friend (or two...or three sometimes) who they can hang out with when they feel like getting laid. Most aren't just sitting at home being lonely and not getting sex when they really want.

And I'll step out here: it's more their own fault for being femcels than male incels. Many times it is because they cannot even find a Chad to bang them out because Chad is too busy with his other women. They're not appealing to Chad. Secondly, many will not accept men actually on their level. So bam they aren't allowing anyone to have sex with them. Meanwhile male incels can't find anyone willing to have sex with them.

This stuff has been happening since the beginning of time. Socializing with people in groups is difficult but necessary as humans if we want companionship outside of families. It has to be learned as well as innate. It used to be that you were forced to socialize sometimes on public transportation or at church or at school, but all of this is changing.

I almost wish they had a program for painfully shy or introverted people to practice with each other in a low stress environment.

I (54m) grew out of this and learned to be sociable. I have been married now for 25 years. Yes lots of women have this issue too.

Is it weird that I've never looked at men on that 1-10 scale? I think you've all got a little something special going on in some way. It's probably because I'm a strictly personality over looks person. If a man can make me laugh and interests me, I tend to start finding him attractive! I think intelligence and a good nature, as well as the ability to put up with my potty humour is the best mix.

I suspect there are still taboos associated with saying 'I don't want / feel able/ am afraid of having a relationship or children', when being questioned irl.

I would suggest that a larger proportion of women than is acknowledged also actually avoid relationships ( including marriage) and sex due to societal, religious or cultural influences and views of sex, birth and parenthood that have caused various traumas and fears.

They may very much want relationships and / or sex, but feel unable to overcome these issues. Likewise with men
