Does she have BPD?

My wife (39f) and me (37m) have been married for 14 years.

It has been VERY rocky to say the least. We have never had any form of conflict resolution, and she is the only person I have had this problem with long-term.

When I say or do something she does not like or do not give in to her having her way, she starts taking over the conversation, not giving me any time to speak, she starts screaming at me, getting worse and worse, saying that we are done and getting a divorce and I should fuck off, then I just sit and listen and she escalates the name calling, then starts telling me what my motives and thoughts are, and she has sometimes also hit me.

Then when I finally cannot take it anymore to be treated and talked to like that, I get up and say fine, it is done, we are done, but then as I want to walk out the door and leave, she stops me from getting in the car and says we must talk and cannot leave it like this.

I go sit down again. Then she immediately apologizes for all the things she said and said she didn't mean it (even though mich of it would leave permanent damage to most partners), then she says we have a great matriage together, then she asks me if we can lie down together, and within a minute or two, she starts kissing me and initiates sex.

This total and extreme flip, usually happens within minutes, and it has happened almost exactly that way basically for ever.

I have started to feel like I am always being manipulated. Whats more. When we discuss any of it a few days later, she denies saying many of the bad stuff she said. To the point where I have recorded arguments to prove the stuff she says.

I cannot handle this anymore and it feels like verbal, mental and sometimes but not often, physical abuse to me.

I have initiated divorce, but she is almost refusing to accept it and is promising to change all her ways, and she has at least always been loyal. Plus I get a lot of sex even if she is in a bad mood lol.

Does these actions sound like someone that has borderline personality disorder or some other disorder?
