For example, let's say a guy is a broke college student, but he's got a solid plan and will be able to land a high-paying job in 3-4 years time, does that matter or is the fact that he's currently broke still negatively impact his SMV?

To go further, let's have 2 separate men in this case:

Man 1 is 5'10, has a 6/10 face and has a well-paying job where he makes 150k a year

Man 2 is 6'2, has a 7/10 face but he's currently broke, though he is in school and will have the potential to land a high-paying job once he's done school in 3 years.

Would the woman chose Man 1, who's SMV is otherwise still decent and makes good money, or would they prefer Man 2 because he's taller, more attractive and they know he'll make good money in 3-4 years time?

Of course there's plenty of other variables, such as how much money Man 2 will actually make once he's done school, or if it actually even guarantees he'll even find a job. And it also varies depending on Man 1, I made him 5'10 in this case but what if he was 5'6 or his face was a 5 instead?

Do women see the future when it comes to the income aspect of SMV, or are they solely interested on whether he has money here and now?
