I might get hated for it, but I'm only really here to try and understand other people's perspectives surrounding this stuff. My own beliefs and experiences are very, very different from those shared on here so it often makes for an interesting read!

It's also fun to take what I've learned and talk about it with my friends.

Once in a while, I also meet people on here who are pretty decent company.

I am looking to bear witness to the pain and desolation of the modern dating world. This place is also entertaining. A great way to kill time between my soul sucking job and sports events I like to watch. Like reading deadbedrooms helped me realize married men were basically sexless, I appreciate that we all have a cross to bear. Very few of us find salvation and purpose in a relationships. The incels don’t know how good they have it.

If I need advice, I go to my father, my mother, the church pastor, my mother-in-law, my father-in-law, etc. It all depends on the subject at hand and who I recognize as an authority on the subject.

I’m here to solidify my points of view on certain things. If I’m struggling to argue my opinions, then maybe I’m wrong or at least not informed enough. I’ve had a little more wild takes when I started here and have had my opinions changed on some occasions. That won’t happen as much if I never try to defend my ideas. But no I don’t come here for advice. There’s other subs catered towards that if I need it.

I am here for the entertainment. Got plenty of advice. Applied all of them, didn't worked and then got blamed I didn't try hard enough. So I was like fuck this, gave up on dating, got tired of hearing the same advices that I already tried dozens of times and here I am laughing and getting entertained at the most delusional people I ever saw on the face of the internet.

I guess I was looking to hopefully give more advice and hope. I have a gf now, but since it was a long uphill battle to get one, I feel sympathetic to other guys here.

I’m mainly here because its entertaining, but every so often you come across things that are genuinely helpful. I’m always open to and appreciate helpful advise though, and I’m sure I’m not the only one like that on this sub.

Nope not here for advice, I got here hoping to find proper evidence that shows the world is different from what I have read, seen and experienced. And also to complain lol. I have been in other subs for similar reasons but they all ban after a while lol

What men say they do and what they actually do are very different. Actions over words.

Examples:

"I prefer girls who dont wear makeup." EVERY SINGLE GIRL he expresses interest in or states he would date, wears makeup lol.

"I only date nice girls." Dates a nice girl dumps her for being "boring" and pursues drama queen woman.

My all time fave on here:

"The girl needs to not be mean and fat. Those are my only standards." Then doesnt consider a woman or will maybe only use her for sex at most because "they dont vibe" "we have nothing in common" "shes too quiet/didnt do easily what I wanted in bed/too talkative/her family is weird."
