My wife cheated on me in the first 6 months of marriage, it was not in person it was a internet relationship. So I forgave here. She did it two more times, I was getting ready to leave and she got pregnant. She had twins and I stayed because I did not want to do that to the kids. Now I am sitting here 20 years later wishing that I had left 20 years ago and now I will losing be 1/2 of my worth as well as paying her alimony for the rest of my life.

Breaks are for video games, not relationships. You either breakup/divorce or you work through it.

In any event, it can definitely get nasty. If you think she’s amicable, then hire a mediator to do up divorcé documentation. It’s a lot cheaper & less contentious.

It can get nasty but if you two agree on everything it won’t get too bad. We used fastfloridadivorce.com. It promises a divorce in less than 30 days if the divorce is uncontested. If you’re not in Florida you can find a site similar to it.

I'm sorry you're going through this. It sucks, and the kids are the ones that are going to feel it. Make sure that you keep the kids ahead of it all. They are the main focus while you and your wife navigate this. Not to be a Debbie downer, but my wife said she needed a “break” because she was cheating on me. So the word break triggers me to think that.

Sorry to hear that you’re going through this. Married 5 months and I’m going through the same. My wife is great but there’s an age gap and lots of arguing over trivial stuff. I’m on the edge of calling quits especially now that my views change on marriage and having kids. Taxes and marriage ought to be taught in school because the dream of romance is a hoax.

I wonder if the married coworker was in the picture even before they got married. I saw a phenomenon on YouTube where a woman who is in love with her boss who won't ever get divorced.

She starts a parallel relationship to fulfill what the coworker cannot offers. The parallel relationship provides her with the things she would miss out in a relationship with a married person.

I'm not foolish enough to say that this is happening. But arguing the first six months of a marriage doesn't make sense either. I'm pretty sure you are getting the narratives of how you are not doing enough. That her load is too much. If you take an honest look at yourself and believe this is not true, alternative reasons should be considered.

It sucks because we have been in a financial pickle all year and playing g catch up on bills. We just moved into her moms house and have no money at all… I don’t even know where to go honestly.. I feel stuck here and trapped. She’s messing with my emotions this way. Making it way harder to even think/sleep/eat. I told her there is no “breaks” in a marriage and she said well she wants to be by herself because she needs to fix herself and be happy again..
