Jogging doesn't seem like a good idea for the first date. How are you supposed to talk and get to know each other? Also a lot of people just aren't into jogging.

I'm extremely averse to exercising with/in front of people so personally I would never want to go on a jogging date.

I wouldn't say either is intimidating but I hate running with a burning passion, so I would not have a good time on a jogging date. I'd also find it kind of hard to get to know someone when we're focused on the jog and breathing properly, doesn't give a lot of opportunities for a good conversation.

Jogging might not be great. You get sweaty, it’s not really the best thing for a first date; it’s probably better more down the line. I would say coffee because it’s easier to have a conversation.

Jogging. I take all my dates on an easy hike or for a round of golf.

But that’s easy because I only date men who share similar interests and hobbies, so saying “Wanna go play nine holes Saturday” is a low pressure, easy way to hang out without formal conversation.

Talking a jogging is hard unless she is in shape but I would love that. This is really dependent on the woman so use your best judgement.

I love jogging, but I don't know if it'd be great for the first day. When I'm jogging/running, I prefer to concentrate on my pacing, posture, breathing, etc. I'd prefer taking a walk if you want it to be an "active" date, because that way I could concentrate on a conversation. Coffee is fine as well, but if she's an active person, walk would be even better, imo.

I cannot talk and jog. I also don't like jogging. Jogging (unless you're like both runners or something) is a terrible first date. Coffee is a great first date.

Coffee date. Exercise is not very conducive to talking. Especially on a first date I'd like to focus on actually getting to know the person. I'd go for a walk but not a jog.

Why not go for a walk? You can move around and talk and it's free, but there's no pressure of public exercising and you can talk normally and get to know each other.

I’m not jogging, hiking, or doing any form of exercise on a first date, that’s very strange… I had a couple men suggest running dates and I told them no, but they insisted on going for a run, so I just blocked them since they didn’t want to do something different… why are we jogging and getting out of breath when we’re supposed to be getting to know each other? 💀 also jogging is not a real date, seems like a very lazy date idea to me…

Also I don’t know him that well, what if he’s leading me somewhere to do something bad to me?? Nah I’m good ✌🏾
