Finally!

Finally, someone here expressed the term that jaded males need to hear, but from a pro-male perspective: trauma dumping.

Men are entitled to a free trauma dumping outlet, whether that's within a romantic relationship or meaningful therapy for men. This is not to be confused with impulsive anger.

The moment the therapist professionals established boundaries regarding trauma dumping was the moment its efficacy for men plummeted off the cliff.

For too many men who are not as prone to impulsive anger, trauma dumping is the only way one can establish any sort of emotional intimacy, whether romantic or platonic. NTs would call it "brutal honesty" or "emotional abuse."

Consider the phrase, "I would be with her and divorce you in an instant."

This would be uttered by non-narcissistic men who have no choice but to resort to trauma dumping in order to communicate bluntly their issues, whether limerence or fearful avoidant attachment. No amount of narcissism-related emotional supply as a response can address this. Such supply is all about worshipping narcissists, while the supply that's really needed is comprehensive compassion.

[This is why a lot of women are hypocrites when demanding empathy.]

It's the same vein as "I love you, but I never fell in love with you."
