Does anyone else get nervous/anxious when interacting with high-value males?

Be one yourself then.

Like silfer101 says: Work out. Focus on your job and do as well as you can. Dress well. Clean your apartement and car. Get a haircut. Treat people with respect, and be fun: watch a lot of stand-up. Practice telling stories to your friends. Use your whole body to tell the story. Learn how to speak several languages. Go to dance classes, or learn how to play the guitar. Go to a karaokebar and enjoy being laughed AT (dgaf attitude).

Give value. Each and every person on this planet has something that is worth discovering. Help them discover it, and compliment them on it. You WILL be loved.

Take chances. And don't expect ANYTHING to fall into your lap. You dion't deserve it before you've put in the hours.

If you meet a high value male, make friends with them. These are guys you definitely want to hang out with, because you can learn a shitload. If he senses that you are also high value (and he's not a douche) then he will probably want to be your friend too. You should not be intimidated, but welcome guys like this in your life.

Guy here. Just remember - every human being has their hang-ups, their issues. Whenever I meet an incredibly beautiful woman, my natural instinct is to go into panic-mode, get all nervous, and tell myself I wouldn't have a snowball's chance in hell with 'em.

But then I tell myself this:

Everyone has ugly days. Even this girl. Sometimes she can't get her hair to do anything. She probably has trouble putting the USB drive in the proper way on the first try, just like I do. She probably has an affinity for some weird flavor of ice cream or some really nerdy book, just like I do.

Behind the beauty, and the shock of it, lies a human being - flawed, troubled, broken, and looking for love...just like you and I.

Once you see through the veneer of appearance, and into their personality, their beauty becomes much less intimidating.

(Basically a really existential version of the age-old "picture your enemy in their underwear" gag. Ha ha.)

I think you should treat them as equals. Stop being nervous, you have to make it look like you hang with people like this all the time. Fake it til you make it. In the mean-time, work out, get a job, dress better etc. to fit in if they are the type you wanna be.

I use to. I used to be workout partners with the (literally) most popular guy at my college. As I spent more time with him I realized that besides attitude, the only thing that separated us was status and that is completely invisible. If it weren't for girls stopping him 4-5 times as we walked from weight rack to weight rack he'd be quite normal. Actually, he seemed embarrassed at the whole thing.

It is an ego thing, you start comparing yourself to them and feel lower value. One of the best things in life I learned to do was to stop comparing myself to others, removing jealous thoughts from myself and instead started comparing myself to a better version of myself...

No matter what I do I cannot BECOME another person, but I can IMPROVE MYSELF to become what I WANT TO BE. Right now I'm still say 10Kg to big, I won't compare myself to a fitnessmodel... No I see how I look, then I see what I want to become and work towards that. When I've lost those 10Kg of fat, then I re-evaluate my current self and compare it towards an even more improved version of myself.

You live one life, stop wasting time on things you cannot do anything about (other people).

If he's a truly exceptional guy than he will make sure that you're comfortable and enjoying yourself because that's how great people make others feel. Even if you become a validation seeking around them they will give you validation and lift you to their level and you can become friends and you'll realise that you never really needed to be nervous in the first place. So just relax and talk to them, their initial response will tell you everything about their value as a person.

To answer you question: I do get nervous around these kind of guys as well because subconsciously I place so much expectation to meeting them because how they respond to you can determine your standing with a whole range of people that they have influence over. Most of the time things end up well because they end up being really great guys so I've realised that I never really had that much to worry about.

As a guy that might seem "cool" to some, it is painfully obviouse when a guy is trying extra hard to be my friend, or seeking my approval. It's even more obviouse if they're awkward and far from what ppl think is "cool". Just stop valuing what they think about you and treat him like a normal person. If he's a good guy hell accept you either way, if he's a douche and thinks he's better than everyone I would say he's not worth your time

Yes, that's a normal reaction. But when you overcome it, you have the advantage. These high-value guys are not used to be challenged. If you do, surprisingly often you win. And by winning I mean the women choose you, not the natural.

Growing up around C.E.O.s, buisness owners, naturals and the like I've never really been nervous around high value males. Probably because I've seen they are just like everyone else. They started somewhere, and they have the same problems as everyone else.

The problem I find is that high-value males usually have enough "value" in their lives that what you have to offer is negligible to them, so as a result they're fine playing cool or giving you crappy replies on conversation, making it hard to really connect with them.
