People here should keep in mind that this is advice to his younger self, he's not generalizing, he's telling his 20 year old self how his 20's will be. Does every point he has carry over into every one of our lives, maybe, maybe not.

Take what you want from it and stop trying to shoot down anything you don't 100% agree with.

While I understand that this isn't suitable for everyone's life, this is exactly what I needed to read as a 24 year old. Very motivating to see that the way I have been living these past 6 months is reaffirmed by this post. I've been struggling grinding to be successful in my terms and I just haven't seen any fruits yet but Rome wasn't built in a day!

I have student loans. That is what my year of work is going towards. Not big travel plans. I vacation travel as best I can on this continent (been to NYC, DC, and soon Toronto) and got to travel to Portugal, Brazil and Spain in the past year for work. Not a terrible first year at a "real" job.

I don't agree with the last point on trust. I think you should not trust someone until they give you a reason to.
