For context, I'm a Atheist, and usually when I hear this argument it's from religious folks, who go back and forth on if Atheists have a reason to get married in the first place. But, during my last pregnancy my partners family, and really all those around me asked when the wedding would be. I've sense seen with the boom of redpill content, Woman who have children outside of marriage put down as hoes, not worthy of marriage, "baby mamas", etc.

This is absolutely baseless, my partner works a full time job making 20$ a hour in the Pacific Northwest. I am a part time worker/ maintaining the cleanliness of our home and cooking which by far bridges the gap. If I was to marry him, we'd lose any childcare credit we'd get and end up paying 700$ in childcare each month, same with WIC, healthcare for me and the child, EBT, etc.

Let's say I got injured, and couldn't work for a period of time, I could not qualify for TANF or other assistance programs. Let's say the business I worked for didn't cover maternity leave, again no support.

And before you call me a "Welfare queen" I have absolutely no shame in using the $ I have put into the system, I'm still taxed on every dollar I make just like you.
