Now, if the GOP actually did a decent job reaching out to non-white dudes, maybe the GOP could point out how more government makes life potentially more difficult for men. Such outreach could potentially cause the women-centric platform of the Dems to backfire, but the GOP still has a lot of room for improvement in realizing that non-white dudes are an untapped constituency.

The answer is quite simple.The party is largely composed of people who hate men.

Just listen to most Democrats speak... They constantly rail against their boogymen of "the patriarchy" or "white men", which plays very well amongst the unmarried women, childless women, etc. who overwhelmingly support Democrats. Only the weakest, most effeminate men are left in the party because they have to agree to take a back seat to women within their party.

I'd argue that they ~~know~~ believe the male swing-vote is strategically ~~more effort to get~~ off-brand, and likely ~~less of a guarantee for that effort~~ higher risk and lower reward.
This is about cost / benefit, and they've decided that undecided or unmotivated female voters are more likely to help the Democratic candidate.

My take... is that men, in this case, aren't being maliciously excluded from the policy platform. Rather, men are deprioritized in the platform due to the perception (right or wrong) that their collective vote is of lower value than the contemporary female vote. I don't believe this is about active neglect or hate for men... pursuing it is just not seen as a strong strategy, I think many people see this as politically opposite to the left.

There are no "sexy" or buzzy pro-male platform points that will score well with the left. There are plenty of both legitimate and zeitgeist rage-bating pro-female rhetoric that will garner motivation to vote. This makes sense as the democratic candidate is female, and they need to maintain the pro-female agenda momentum.

Unfortunately, we live in very politically binary and tribal times. It's populism all over again. Us vs. them. Man vs. woman. White collar vs. blue collar. Etc. The consequence is that more radicalized people are voted into power, on both sides of the spectrum. The middle ground disappears, which really sucks.

We had this in canada when Trudeau was voted in as PM. He ran on a feminist agenda, and further divided the country between the left and right. He's taken the central-left Liberal party into far-left NDP policy, while the right has become firmly entrenched in tired rightist tropes. Trudeau's strategy was a sham, he is a charlatan, he's not a feminist... he's an opportunist, and it's been exposed through various ethical scandals. He saw a platform opportunity, and took it to boost is popularity. Harris is the same, an opportunist and a populist. It'll end up the same for her, probably mostly hated (and yet, unreservedly LOVED by some).

Its obvious from this side of the pond why, they're obviously playing on the fact Harris a female and are using that to mobilise the vote as much as possible. If they can encourage women en masse to vote, the election is there's. It's not about who they care or don't care about, it's a calculated move to try to get the votes they need to win, it just has the side affect of making it seem that they don't care about the male vote. Stupid plan, really.
