So my STBXW left me without warning two months ago. In my opinion it was without warning. So she moves in with her mom, taking her by surprise.

She proposed and I agreed to an amicable divorce. A divorce without lawyers or appearing in court. She asked for a small financial stipend to which I have already paid as her settlement.

I never wanted for this to happen. When she moved out, she is currently on pause for nursing school. Then she suffered a health issue.

When she moved out the only things she has are her car, which I'm still making payments on. She effectively has no money other than what I've already lent her.

Now, she wants me to cosign for a loan so she can financially survive. Yea I'm the one with the good credit and most of the money which I've saved myself over the years. The loan she wants is huge. So far I've played along with her requests so she doesn't turn on a dime and sue me for all I'm worth.

A little part of me wants her back. So far she's said no to any reconciliation.

At what point do I start saying that "your problems are no longer my problems" and to just leave me be.

She's the one who moved out and moved on, on a whim. I'm just trying to keep my shit together. It's bad enough I also lost my really good job I had for over 20 years back in July. I'm making some money but not nearly enough to cover bills at fedex. The new job is very physically demanding.

What's a guy to do here? Thanks for reading and please don't say "get a lawyer".
