This is just something I've noticed between being friends with both men and women and having hung out with them separately. In my friend group (6 men, 3 women, Friends since freshman year of high-school and we are now in our 20s) it is almost ALWAYS the men focused on penis size, jumping directly to insults related to penis size during an argument, or just bringing it up in general.

However, in women focused spaces I've been in (hanging out with my two close female friends, in my local/small-town sorority at college) It legitimately doesnt really ever come up. If we want to insult a man, we go for personality WAY before penis size, and honestly penis size only comes up if he didn't know what to do with what he had. Even in these situations, its not a focal point.

Overall: spaces that have more men in them to me seem to have MUCH more derogatory/demasculatimg talk regarding men and their penis size.

Spaces that have more women in them, if we are critiquing a man, penis size is almost never a focal point.

Interested to see if you guys have found the same conclusion.

ADDTIONALLY: Im sure this will delve into the fact I have more male friends than female or the pschology of male/female friends or whatever.

To get the questions I can think of out of the way - NONE of the women in the friend group have been romantically/sexually involved with the men in our friend group - the majority of them have GFs that are obviously not us - 2/3 of the girls in my friend group have boyfriends. The other girl is asexual.

EDIT: not deleting this because i don't want anyone to think i don't stand by my opinion BUT everyone keeps saying the same things without bothering to read my other comments and im not gonna respond the same thing over and over. Just a hypothesis I made based off my own experience! I wanted others to share their experiences as I stated from the beginning in my most :) if you think im attacking you, that's a you issue.
