Thoughts on bringing your dates to night out with friends?

This was my standard way of doing dates when I was single.

I routinely did this even for first dates.

It's fine. Not everything needs to be overly intimate.

And I don't get why the other commenters are being so weird about it. When I was doing this, a bunch of my friends were doing it too, at the same time, on the same nights.

I still have single friends doing it to this day.

We even celebrated one of our friend's birthday one time while all of us brought girls we recently started seeing.

This is not some weird thing. Anyone with a good social life has done it and has had multiple friends doing it.

Edit: I've been reading the concerns of others who are against this.

If you're worried that one of your friends will make a move on her, then they're not really your friends. Part of fixing your dating life is fixing your social life too.

It's also not a big step as long as you don't make a big deal of it.

Not a good idea. Specially if you haven’t had had sex multiple times with her first, but even if you have it’s still not a good idea. Too soon, you haven’t even talked about being in an official relationships and it’s too soon to have that conversation also.

My take? Sometimes life is simple and sometimes hard. Sometimes we make it harder than it has to be and your overthinking. If you’re in a fourth date you might be thinking of getting more serious in a way. Just ask yourself:

Do you want her there?

Do you like your friends?

Do want her to like them too?

Are you trying to get her to know you?

If the answer is yes to them. Go ahead bro. There’s no magic formula and sounds like you like her a lot. You’re going to have to make her part of your life and having her interact with your friends is part of that.

If she’s uninterested after, then I mean… that’s kinda good. You got an answer rather than waiting months out of fear. You shouldn’t want someone who is just not vibing with your life. Which by the looks of it, she already is so it’s not likely.

Ignore everything else. You want her there then bring her.

It's better to know now if she can vibe with your friends now than 6 months in and you are basically in love with this girl and find out she hates your friends.

I think 4th date in is perfectly fine. It shows you like her enough to introduce her to your friends and you can see how well she vibes with them.

Trust me, i've dated girls who didnt like some of my friends. I've been the boyfriend who didnt like my GF's friends. The people you have around and how your partner feels about them does matter.

If there isnt an agreement about the people you keep around that can cause a lot of future fights and headahces. When i didnt like my GF's friends, it was due to a lot of bad behaviors I saw from them from trying to bully other people, to creating false rumors of people and just being straight up creeps and toxic people. Im not saying this is yoru friends but just because they may not be bad people doesnt mean your GF (or future partner) will like them.

I think you can do it. If a girl invited me out with her friends, I would say yes. But personally if I get the choice to organize, I want to focus on the date.

If you're traveling solo, this is a totally fine way to date tho because you already don't know anyone you're hanging out with.

For a first date you should start solo and then decide if you want to bring her to meet up with your friends or stay solo. Last weekend I brought a girl from a first date to meet up with my music industry friends who were out drinking because I found out she was into the same music they work on and it worked out really well.

Take her. Better to learn early if she thinks your friends suck, before you get a lot of time invested in her.

I brought my ex out on a standard first date, our second date was a trip to the gym together, and our third date was her coming to my house for my roommates birthday hangout (about a dozen people in total, only half of which i knew at the time). It set a solid base to build our relationship off of. If it doesnt feel like it will be a weird thing on your end, and she is the right person for you, it wont be weird for her. Take the opposite perspective too, would it be weird if you went out with her friends instead?

If you've already slept with her, sure feel free to introduce her to friends. It's an important part of the vetting process. If you haven't slept with her yet, prioritize that first with alone intimate time together.

In general, you should always try to bed a woman asap to establish the pair bonding and make her think she's seeing someone. Most women typically lose the urge of dating other men once they start consistently sleeping with one. Before that, you're just another guy she's kind of talking to and she will continue playing the field and seeing what other options out there.

Its a great idea. Its how Ive landed GFs in the past, and I met my current one in a friends group who brought more friends to meet me around xmas. You get to do a lot more push pull which benefits both her and yourself. She gets a flavor of you since she sees who you hang out with, it becomes far less serious and you can keep taking breaks from each other thus allowing you to spend a lot more time together at a stretch without it feeling like you have to constantly yap or cater.
She gets to watch how you interact with others which lets her judge situations more calmly and in a more fun way having a higher chance of seeing you in positive light.
Plus events like those are way more fun - theres a lot more dancing that isnt overtly sexual, and you get to keep shuffling between people giving you more excitement with every single one you meet. It makes it all the more special when you pull her aside at some point, which you should definitely make sure you do.

Too early in my opinion. Also gives off a friendship vibe. When your in an established relationship then yes no problem. In my experience, when in a relationship, outings with friends were always with other couples if the gf was there and not with single or unaccompanied friends.

This kind of thing seems like a big step forward. Introducing a girl to friends and especially family is pretty intimate. I’d make sure you’re sleeping with her already because friends being around does actually serve as an obstacle to physical intimacy in general.

If you don’t see her as a serious long term partner then i’d say not to do it. It kind of gives relationship vibes and she may get hopes up
