Today I went to the mall and nearby university campus and ran some day game.

For reference, I'm 23 years old. I'm in shape, have good style, and a good smile. I speak confidently, and have good body language when flirting.

I walked around from 10 am - 12:30 pm, then went and had lunch. Then day gamed more from 1 pm - 4 pm. There were lots of girls my age at the mall and university campus.

In total, I spent around 6 hours, and I approached around 12 girls. I would only approach girls who were making eye contact with me and holding eye contact with me, and smiling. I wasn't cold approaching girls who had earphones/headphones in, or weren't looking at me.

Among the 12 girls I approached (all warm leads, as they were girls who held my eye contact and wanted me to approach them), I introduced myself, they all said their name and shook my hand as I said my name. We'd get to talking, like what program they're studying, how old they were, etc. I would then asked for their number.

10/12 girls told me "I have a boyfriend", 1 gave me their number, and 1 told me "I'm not interested". These were all girls who held eye contact with me/ smiled at me, and they were all flirty in the conversation when I approached them.

How come only 1/12 of these girls gave me their phone number, when all the signs of interest were there? This makes me feel like I wasted 6 hours. I approached the girls who were showing me indicators of interest, and 1/12 girls giving me their phone number is all I got.

What are your guy's thoughts on this situation, and day game in general? The only rationale I may have is that it's close to Valentine's Day and so these girls were actually talking to someone, and they didn't want to switch up, as they know their Valentine's Day plans were "locked in". Thoughts?
