How do you think guys should meet new people, and what are the pros/cons of each approach, in your opinion?

Depends on what the guy wants.

My ideal is developing a social connection with them. I prefer to enjoy their company and us being compatable. I tend to think in the terms of spending a life together with them, so long term stuff is important.

Point 2, c'mon. Make up your mind. Do you want excess money to be an attractant or not? In real life I think this is getting pretty fringe, women are catching up as breadwinners. Yes there are specific women who want to do only fans or be a sugar baby, but they're getting sorted more specifically apart from the majority. My own child only has two close female relatives who SAH, and many close female relatives who outearn men they are loyal to for reasons of good character. All her high school friends expect Dutch. All of them. All of them talk in ways that they expect to have their own career and wage.

I think point 3 is your best bet. Because relationship skills like planning and communication that work well with a mixed group will also serve you well inside romantic relationship. People are people, they like to be talked to and planned for and given time and compromise.

Point One, tinder hook-ups, while it doesn't always fail, I think it's likeliest to lead to failure. Either by sorting for people who really don't want deep relationship or those who can't handle it.

Socialising. Interesting that you think sugar babies, or paying someone to be your girlfriend aka prostitution, would have the highest quality women.

Little anecdote: my high school senior was essentially warm approached by another senior in the fall. They were on the same sports team, so not a completely cold approach, but she didn't really know him, and turned him down.

Five months later, she knows his sense of humor and his reputation for honesty and dedication better, and they've been dating these past two months and are going to prom together.

Hilariously, they are toning down the hickeys due to anticipation of the formal wear, I cannot stop laughing.

So to answer, I think that often, getting to know someone and prove yourself trustworthy, good humored and reliable can be a serious plus.

Men should do what they think is best for them, depending on what they're looking for.

I'm an OLD fan, bc it provides the opportunity to share important information up-front. That's an efficient way to remove incompatible ppl from one's dating pool. There's no inherent physical danger in the initial contact stages. And we know it can work - more than half of relationships that began within the last couple of yrs are between ppl who met online.

That said, it has to be used well, which is the biggest con if you ask me. When users lie, they still waste time and effort - theirs and yours. Men spam anyone with a pulse, so there's the risk of being buried under the avalanche of "valued customer" messages.

Still, it can be done in your jammies. So... It wins for me. lmao

First is a screen for immediate chemistry. (Or possibly drunkeness.) This isn't totally incompatible with longer term relationships, but it's not a good way of selecting for them. Lust at first sight doesn't mean you get to know each other or are particularly compatible. But hey, if all you want are fleeting hookups, I guess?

The second, you are paying for young pretty women, usually without much else going for them (at least yet - many use this to pay for school) for sexual access and companionship. I find it more than a little creepy that this is your version of highest quality women. (Or is it your assumption that you can't attract someone who isn't being paid to be with you?)

You emphasis on the third that it's about popularity is just weird to me. I guess I've seen interest driven by popularity before?* My experience is that I talk with people, and if they're interesting to talk to and they're at least somewhat attractive (and I'm more likely to be attracted to them if they're interesting, but physicality is definitely part of it), I'll ask them out and/or proposition them. If I'm in the mood, and have the time, etc. etc.

*Once upon a time, a woman pursued me in part, I think, because a guy she had been dating expressed a lot of interest and she wanted to one up him.

First we have the things you shouldn’t do:

- Lie or purposely deceive women.

- Pay women for sexual or romantic favors.

- Force yourself on a woman.

- Approach her in a way that is uncomfortable to her.

If you don’t do any of these things, then you can pretty much do whatever you want. Option 1 and 3 are fine.
