I remember when this sub was first gaining traction and women started leveling up, including myself. I love that we’ve all found one another and a place to process this shit patriarchal mysogynistic society we are living in. Many of us are teachers, doctors, nurses, counselors and healers who have always placed the needs of others before our own, and there are many still many of us blindfolded that need our help.

And this is how it should be. I'm part of a group who aspires to be this in theory but once you post about your troubles they're either shut shaming, telling you its your fault, etc. I am all for accountability but come on, let's not kick a sister while she's down. This group is great about the positive contributions and genuine care. Its like the other one is full of women who think coffee dates are dates and we're lucky if we even get that, and don't get mad if he doesn't want to pay for your coffee...... 😐

Dude yes. I'm probably far from being the most confident, HV woman out there but this sub always gives me that much needed boost to advocate for myself and not take any bullshit from men. I'm inexperienced af but right now FDS is making me feel very good about my current boyfriend and I think that being more direct in my communication has made me a better girlfriend to him as well. Don't trust the reddit hivemind, FDS is one of the best dating subs for women to follow
