How about a bit of a run down of the site, a screen shot or maybe some quotes so we aren't giving them ad revenue.

[–][deleted] 12 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

[permanently deleted]

[–]TRiPdonGame 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Have we got a sidebar for that? Every poster should know how to keep ad revenue from the fems.

Of course, I use adblock, but they still get my traffic.

[–]vvancruz 12 points13 points14 points 12 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

You are right. Thank you for the constructive criticism.
Since I can't seem to edit the post, and this is the (justifiably) top comment, let me try to fix my mistake here.

The title is "10 Ways Men Can Combat Sexist Entitlement in Public" It is a nauseating diatribe on how not to be a man.

The non-ad revenue generating link is here: http://www.donotlink.com/oOp

[–]the99percent1 7 points8 points9 points 12 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

how about u delete the thread and start again?...

[–]Ferelden 18 points19 points20 points 12 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Or just stop reading the daily feminist? Wtf people on this board shouldn't have time to look for feminist articles that will just serve to make them mad. You should be busy improving or finding ways to improve.

[–]AskmeIfIamFapping 20 points21 points22 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

THIS. Half the men on redpill just want to hamster and circlejerk about feminism.

The truth is out. We all know it.Read the sidebar. Read the top posts. Feminism is stupid. Fat acceptance is stupid. Pussypass is everywhere. bla bla bla. We are not waging a war against feminism but are improving ourselves and developing sexual strategy to survive in the real world.

Get to work and stop linking the hundreds of new feminist sites that crop up everyday unless and until they have something worthwhile and new.

[–]TRPCypher 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Half the men on redpill just want to hamster and circlejerk about feminism.

As a recent newcomer here I have to agree. I'm pretty sure everyone here has already come to more or the same conclusions regarding feminism. It strikes me that post's like this belong in MRA subs. But, I'm a newcomer so what do I know. ;)

Was it always like this or is it due to the recent influx of newbies like myself?

[–]AskmeIfIamFapping 3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

This has been going on for a while...ive been on redpill for approx an year so im not a veteran myself. Ever since the subreddit has increased in size, quality of posts has gone down

[–]TRPCypher 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That's too bad. There's still tons of great posts here though.

BTW, I have to ask... are you fapping?

[–]Ferelden 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Based on the popularity of feminism rants, I'd wager it's way more than 50%. Most people here seem to be looking for an excuse to give up. I doubt many make it to the gym, stop eating like shit, and work on their approach anxiety (or whatever beta tendencies they have). Instead they blame women for their own inability to get laid. It's funny because red pill gets shit on a lot around reddit. I used to believe it was unfounded, but more and more I see posters who are exactly what the rest of reddit complains about. It only takes one bad apple...

[–]vvancruz 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This was shared with me by a girl I know who also knows feminist crap makes my blood boil. I have been accused of being 'unemotional' by said girl and she knows this is the only way to get to me.

[–]drrtyfrrnr 8 points9 points10 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Haha, same reason I came to the comments first.

[–]BetterToBeFeared 3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yeah i'm not going to click on that. We're 60k+ strong which is significant when it comes to site traffic -> ad revenue.

[–]redditguy1515 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's the worst thing ever, don't even bother

[–]Hokuto199x 54 points55 points56 points 12 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

Seriously? Ask permission to hug or kiss your partner? Seems more like a guide on how to never get laid again.

[–]Endorsed ContributorrebuildingMyself 39 points40 points41 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Just another feminist shit test. If you actually follow this advice, you are turning pussies into deserts.

You know, if you drop a couple the last 6 lines or so you could probably pull it off. Gotta have that sexy low male timbre and rock solid frame though.

Reminds me of how some guys describe exactly how they are seducing the girl to her while seducing her.

I'm going to try exactly that tonight as an opener... I am pretty sure I won't reach the second half without crying in laughter.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

That pissed me off. If my husband wants to kiss me in public, he does, no questions or hesitation. Telling men they should "ask" is neutering/enforced blue pilling in action.

[–]CampbellSmith00 41 points42 points43 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

That last one... "Indoctrinate the young in the ways of feminism."

Fuckjng scary

[–]fizolof 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Meh, I'm actually glad they're using the more blunt language here. Words like "propaganda" and "indoctrination" have pejorative meanings now - they shouldn't have, there's nothing wrong with propagating your beliefs.

[–]AngraMainyuu 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

With the rate our culture invents new words, I'm sure we can agree that some old words are allowed to adopt new connotations thus altering their common and most widely understood usages. The only reason I balk at the term "exploit" being used pejoratively, is because the definition of the word describes something everyone does all of the time anyway, and there hasn't been a good replacement definition for the way people tend to use it, as outright deception rarely occurs in the scenarios where the word is most often used.

[–][deleted] 19 points20 points21 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

This is hilarious! Favourite two phrases: "women-identified people" and "cis-sexism of assuming only women need abortions".

[–]ButterMyBiscuit 14 points15 points16 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

sexism of assuming only women need abortions

Haha, if someone said this to me in person I'd involuntarily laugh in their face. It would be one of those genuine braying deep laughs where you don't really want to laugh but it's coming out anyway.

[–]Air4ce1 3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I skipped over that stuff cause at some point they were using so many words that I don't even know the meaning of.

[–]weirdnamedindian 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I read the article that linked too! The comments to it were scathing! Seriously, these people who go on about cis this and cis that are seriously mentally unstable.

How about a list titled "10 Ways Women Can Be Better Wives and Girlfriends"...

[–]Adelaideagain 13 points14 points15 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Do you want to be labeled a shitlord? But seriously the double standard in the media irks me.

[–]TannhauserOverture 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

"Try blowing your man while cooking him a delicious meal. It can easily be accoplished if your man uses a ladder to get his penis on the level of your face. But be careful not to finish the food before you finish him though. Men who just came don't want to be served cold food!"

I will never do any of these things, period.

[–][deleted] 13 points14 points15 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I refuse to read it. I started, but I just have so many better things to do. Stabbing myself with a kitchen fork would be a more productive use of my time. I did notice that the author is male, though. FFS.

[–]NillaThunda 4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Imagine all the vagina this guy is going to slay though.

[–]Dark_Shroud 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

If he can't get laid no one else should either.

[–]oopssorrydaddy 14 points15 points16 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

This article really changed my views on how much space I take up. As a 6'1'' 210lb male, my physical space privilege is off the charts. From now on I'll make sure to contort myself into the most scrotum-crushing, tension-inducing position possible when outside the house so that other people can enjoy all of the precious space I'm saving.

[–]_SEEING_RED 7 points8 points9 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Surely people will respect you then, especially those who identify as womyn.

[–]thelotusknyte 10 points11 points12 points 12 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Wait, it's a man writing this? It just got more pathetic.

And wth is cisgender women?

[–]panzergling 5 points6 points7 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Pretty sure cisgender means "born of their current gender".

So, if you're born a boy and grow into a man, you're a misogynist who needs to shut the fuck up and keep your shirt on.

Unless anyone would like to correct me?

[–]Fzed600 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

A person that acts like a faggot to men for no reason.

[–]1Sergnb 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

cisgender: someone who thinks their genitalia matches their person.

Basically, someone who is not a transgender.

[–][deleted] 12 points13 points14 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

"ask for permission to hug. Ask for permission to kiss"

"talk to other men about male entitlement"

WHAT THE FUCK

[–]Air4ce1 7 points8 points9 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Dont forget the "ask your PARTNER for permission to kiss"

[–]AngraMainyuu 5 points6 points7 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I wonder if men should also ask women what leash and collar they should wear before being allowed out with them in public. I mean Jesus, feminism really works hard to kill any and everything that makes men attractive and viable in the world.

[–]CaaronnE 9 points10 points11 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

"Street harassment can be hitting on a women with whom you have no context or relationship."

Well, guess I'll only be hitting on friends & family from now on.

[–]Olipyr 10 points11 points12 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

As someone that is 6'6", I'll take up as much goddamn space as I need.

I will say this, most of the women I've run into in real life are not like this and do not fall prey to these ideals. It could be that in the South traditional roles are still looked favorably upon.

[–]UncharminglyWitty 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

A male wrote this article... Even worse now, isn't it?

[–]phasetwenty 7 points8 points9 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

If you take the opposite of each point, it's useful. The original points

  • Don’t Act Like the World is Your Living Room, and Call Out Men Who Do
  • Using Your Voice: Step Up and Step Back
  • Work to End Street Harassment
  • Refuse to Use Sexist Language, and Call Out Men Who Do
  • Keep Your Clothes On
  • Be Publicly Trans*-Inclusive
  • Demonstrate Clear Consent
  • Strive to Be an Ally to Women in Social Spaces
  • Talk About Male Entitlement with Other Men

Become

  • Act Like the World Is Your Living Room
  • Using Your Voice: Step Up
  • Work to Improve Your Daygame
  • Don't Be Afraid to Use Sexist Language
  • Don't Worry About Trans-Anything
  • Demonstrate Clear Consent: Just Put Your Hand On Her Back
  • Strive To Be An Ally To Men In Social Spaces

8/10. The other two don't have good opposites:

  • Talk About Male Entitlement with Other Men
  • Keep Your Clothes On

[–]1PaulRivers10 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That is an awesome point, I was going to write the same thing.

Read Game, then read Feminism, and it's extremely amusing how Game says "do this", and feminism says "don't do this" to the exact same thing. But guess which one friends of mine have picked up and dated more, vs which one friends have picked up and dated less with?

If you want dating advice, in Game there's some good advice mixed in with a lot of crap advice. In feminism it's nothing but crap advice, unless you realize you need to do the opposite of what they say.

[–]Gesnaught14 points 12 years ago [recovered] (9 children) | Copy Link

Wow. Suddenly removing ones shirt when he's hot is sexist? Well excuse me for trying to be comfortable. This article reads like stereo instructions on how to alienate any woman you may be interested in. 0/10 would not follow advice

[–]Air4ce1 17 points18 points19 points 12 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

The irony because when I ask a female why they have to wear such skimpy clothes in the gym it's always "because it's comfortable" and "you have no right to tell me what to wear"

[–][deleted] 13 points14 points15 points 12 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Or then there are skirts vs shorts in the workplace. It's 100+ where I am and every time women wear open toed shoes and skirt while I am forced to wear pants, they are exercising their privilege.

[–]esproductions 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I was straight up told that men wearing sandals in the workplace is offensive. I asked why, she said "because nobody wants to see your feet". BTW this wasn't directed at me, it was during a discussion about appropriate work wear during my first few days at my new job.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's crazy. I've come close to saying that I don't want to see the fat ladies in my office in skirts and dress tank tops. That shit is actually disgusting. If you can't handle a bit of hair on my legs and feet, shit I can not control by what I eat and how I exercise, I shouldn't be penalized.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

"...they are exercising their privilege forced entitlement". Apologies for being an asshole.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Are you being an asshole? I'm not sure what you are even saying. What do you mean by forced entitlement?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I am an asshole by default. And "forced entitlement" meaning that feminism is anymore forcing their way and tipping the scales towards benefitting only women instead of both genders equally. TL;DR: double standard.

[–]Gesnaught 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Then logically (assuming feminism adheres to its equality principle) that point is moot

[–]esproductions 15 points16 points17 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Okay here we go:

  1. Don’t Act Like the World is Your Living Room, and Call Out Men Who Do

This has nothing to do with men. I've definitely had more women do rude shit on planes than men, but that's more of an issue about annoying people in general, not a gender issue.

  1. Using Your Voice: Step Up and Step Back

People will listen to whoever has interesting things to say and both men and women talk loudly, again, not a gender issue.

  1. Work to End Street Harassment

Not everything men say to women are cat calls or harassment. I give compliments to anyone: I told a dude wearing a fedora the other day that I liked his hat. Doing this to a woman = harassment? Please, who's really the sexist here.

  1. Refuse to Use Sexist Language, and Call Out Men Who Do

Apparently men are not allowed to call a woman crazy, even if she is crazy. Apparently the word crazy is now sexist. Suit yourselves.

  1. Keep Your Clothes On

Ladies, feel free to take your clothes off as well, because equality. Don't pretend you don't enjoy seeing my buff body as much as I enjoy the cleavage hanging out of your low cut shirt.

  1. Be Publicly Trans*-Inclusive

Change the way I talk to everyone just in case I offend someone whos a tranny? Okay great advice.

  1. Demonstrate Clear Consent

Ask for permission to kiss your girlfriend? Okay I'm gonna stop reading now.

  1. Strive to Be an Ally to Women in Social Spaces

Complaining about physical/verbal attention in a club? Why keep clubbing and get picked up / railed every weekend then?

  1. Talk About Male Entitlement with Other Men

...

  1. Talk to Boys and Young Men About Male Entitlement in Age-Appropriate Ways

No, I'm going to teach boys to how to become men, not what a bunch of fat ugly bitter feminazi bitches rejected-by-men-their-whole-lives say they should become.

PS: Can we stop linking articles like this? With a sub of 60,000+ people, we really are giving them site traffic they don't deserve with the BS they write.

[–]SillyAmerican 6 points7 points8 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I find the idea that only males lounge on public transportation hilarious. How many times have I not been able to sit down because a 200 lb lady is taking up 3 seats? more than I'd like to admit.

[–]hipst 4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes, or decided to keep their ginormous purse and shoppings on the adjacent seat.

[–]Endorsed ContributorBluepillProfessor 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

I have, in the past, puked blue vomit onto my screen. After reading this I puked RED vomit.

I would have carefully read this before I took TRP. Now I am furious that I once tried to follow some advice like this. Feminism has turned into a calculated indoctrinating FEMINIZING program for men. How is that all working for you guys?

It sure didn't take the feminist long to descend into gender bending lesbianism and transgenerisms. Cic-sexism? WTF!

[–]Sir_Fancy_Pants 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I remember reading a news feature where feminists gave dating advice like mens magazines routinely do (the premise was women taking over writing the typical 'lads mags' for one issue) and they honestly thought their advice was brilliant and the men had got it all wrong.

One of their "top tips" to attract/date a girlfriend was "read up on the history of women's rights, she will be impressed and think of you as a real man for knowing women's issues and struggles"

Lol good luck with that guys, i remember showing it to my girlfriend at the time and her and i both laughing ( out of interest: i have dated quite a few girls who actively unprompted told me they absolutely hate feminists)

[–]getfuckingreal 3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I know where to begin, this whole article is calling women helpless and degrading them that only men can save them. Instead of teaching men to save women, teach women to save themselves. The only natural advantage men have over women is their physicality, which in our modern society is less important than ever before. I know I am preaching to choir here, but stop coddling women and maybe they wouldn't be so weak and pathetic. Most single women in their 20's and 30's that I know are less capable than similarly aged men when it comes to typical adult tasks like paying taxes, booking a hotel room or using public transportation because they are fed this degrading crap.

[–]CostOfSpartan 3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Number 10 literally gave me chills. "Talk to they youth about how their very existence is offensive to the rest of the world, how they shouldn't feel 'entitled' to breathe the same air as us." Also, am I the only one who starts feeling physical pain whenever I see the word "cis-"anything?

[–]1PaulRivers10 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yeah, the indoctination of the young is a common political tool, and it's even more chilling here than it it anywhere.

"cis"-gender - trying to make gay sound cool, and being straight sound uncomfortable and something you wouldn't want to be.

[–]redpillthrowaway87 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Anybody here speak fluent hamster who can translate this article for me? It almost sounds like this crazy bitch was trying to blame "the patriarchy" for some murdering lunatic, but I find it hard to believe that anybody is actually that fucking stupid.

Now granted, my hamsterese is a bit rusty, but it almost sounds like she's saying "would somebody please put a cock in my ass!"

Keep Your Clothes On

...

he also exerts his privilege, as cis women and trans* people do not often have that same privilege of going topless in public.

Don't let me stop you sweetie, you go right ahead. Hell, I'll even put on a damn burka if women agree to walk around topless all the time.

[–]CornyHoosier 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Every one of this person's examples about "things men do" are applicable to women as well.

Fun story: The authors first example with the feet on an airplane ... I literally had a woman do that to me on a flight to Phoenix the other week. I grabbed her foot for a couple seconds and it scared the piss out of her. She jumped and jerked her leg causing the guy on her left to spill his drink and flipped over the laptop of the guy on her right. They both looked fed up with her shit before the flight even started so they were fuming at this point.

One of them went into father-mode and told her to, "Sit up, put your feet down and just calm down for the rest of the flight." ... he also made her take the window seat. Ha ha.

I like number one.

This one’s simple. Be aware of the physical space you take up in public: on trains, in coffee shops, at the library, on airplanes.

Down with land whales! Down with fatties! This is great. Or maybe I should always be attempting to star fish out on everything in an attempt to make myself take up as much space as a land whale.

about men taking up more space on the train: i have balls are between my legs (unlike the author, it seems). it's really uncomfortable to keep my legs together, and it's not possible to tightly cross my legs like women do because of my leg's short length and hefty girth.

After reading this I propose the coining of a new term as I feel the term 'white knight' or 'mangina' just doesn't cut it for this breed of 'man'. What this person is, is quite simply, a 'sentinel'. Not only does he advocate for the perpetuation of the BP mentality, he also advocates for the indoctrination of other men into the BP mentality. Just as the sentinels maintained and spread the illusion of the matrix so too does this type of person do the same for illusion that is the BP mentality.

Having a man like this would make me drier than Sahara desert. WHY WHY WHY?! Ask before you kiss your partner? Is this dude fucking crazy? Are they supposed to ask "do you consent" before each thrust while having sex? I can't even

[–]Plaisantin -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

At my college orientation they said we need to actually ask for consent and receive an unambiguous answer or its rape. Of course this only applies to males...

God dammit, stop linking this shit directly. This shit of a website doesn't deserve the traffic and views we give them.

On the point of "Keep your clothes On".

When a woman walked around New York topless. The ONLY people that took issue with it were other women.

But I'm sure they'd blame that on the patriarchy.

what man in his right mind actually reads this drivel on a daily basis?

[–]TheWeddingReversal 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

lol, I just asked my Korean girlfriend about number 7 -

Me: Do I need to ask you before I kiss you or can I just kiss you?

Her: You can just kiss me

Me: But what if you don't want to be kissed?

Her: Then I just say 'no'.

Later she said that asking your SO if they want to be kissed is 'petty'. Feminists are absolutely ridiculous and don't even understand the basics of relationships. If you're in a relationship with someone the LEAST amount you should trust them is that they'll say 'no' if they don't want something.

  1. Demonstrate Clear Consent

He forgot to mention you should ask a woman before you glance in her direction. Glancing at a woman without her consent is a form of harassment.
