Don't need a pill. Just marry and the man's sex drive will dip because monogamy is not a testosterone builder. Add kids, and if he is an active father, the levels will dip as well. I don't see as many men lining up for marriage and kids nowadays so I don't think they would want this natural pill.

I also don't think altering a man's sex drive is a good idea. Many people are already walking around drugged up in one way or another, drinking, anxiety meds, SSRIs. At some point, the human experience will not exist because it will be exchanged for the altered state experience.

How do you define male aggression? Sexual or just part of masculine traits. All aggression is not bad.

To tamper with this would be risky and make men more feminine which would result in male sexual disatisfaction because many women want a strong man and aggression is part of his strength.

If _Chad_ took the pill, things would change dramatically. Hypergamy would end, because Chad's sex drive would be low and he wouldn't care to sleep around. Chad would pair off with one woman, and that would be that. The other women would lose their access to Chad and would be forced to date someone else. However, it is unclear why Chad should want to take the pill. As for everyone else, frankly I doubt anyone would take it unless they are black pill and just want to stop wanting sex. I suppose helicopter parents might get their male children to take the pill so as to focus on their studies, but most parents would think that was cruel, absent a major cultural shift.

Bad idea. A world in which a majority of men took this pill would be really bad.

Men do things to get sex/ children.

Remove that incentive and all that men would want is a comfortable life. You don't need a lot of money to have a comfortable life.

Innovation and competition would take a heavy hit. Humanity's progress would slow down. Men chasing status and money as a tool to get sex/children is the fuel that keeps humanity going.

There's nothing unique or original about a cult of castration. It's been done many times before by many different civilizations and cultures. In fact if you actually want to do this you can with a DHT blocker Finasteraid. OP should definitely buy some.

There already is. Exogenous testosterone at any dosage will shut down natural production completely. Just inject a low amount (like 100mg of enanthate every four weeks) and you will experience it.

So basically, the only difference is that men would want less sex. Testosterone levels would remain the same, and taking this pill would be voluntary on the part of men. Overall, then, this would probably be a good thing in my opinion as long as there were no intolerable side effects. I am male and non-Red Pill.

I wouldn't mind a world with a pill like that. Clearly nobody would take it who didn't consent to, like any medication. Unfortunately, this means the same as it does for so many other things: the people who want it are the ones who need it least, and the ones who need it(very aggressive alpha-types who yell and fight continually to the point of causing problems) would refuse to take it.

So I don't know if the world would be very different at all. In the beginning, only men would take it. It would be prescribed by doctors to treat sexual frustration and aggression. Then it would be mandated for men who are on probation for any crime(regardless of whether it was sexual or aggressive in nature), which would be unhelpful and cruel. Then it would be tested on women, who would eventually have to take them while on probation only for the most extreme types of violent crimes(mass homicide, child rape, etc).

And that would be a new source of strife between the two genders because there would be aggressive men who are really helped by the pill and there would be docile men who are on probation for having marijuana and they would also be forced to take the pill.

TLDR: I don't think this pill would make the world a better place because those who need it wouldn't take it.

Am a transgender man, so I've lived both in an estrogen-dominant system, as well as a testosterone-dominant system. Men and women aren't like... space aliens to each other. We share the same genes and have the same desires. The difference wouldn't be too great, men would just want sex less - they'd probably continue dating the same otherwise, though, because sex isn't the only thing we want from dates. The medical world has already essentially forged a way to produce this and it frankly hasn't interested most people.

Just remember that lesbian couples still have all the same problems straight couples do.

I think this pill would completely wreck the dating game. Women already have a lower sex-drive today, and a lot of us bank on being approached/enticing the right guy so that he approaches when it comes to dating. A lot of my friends complain about guys not picking up on "signals" on when to kiss, and very few actually initiate anything when it comes to dating (except, of course, for the couple that use bumble).

On the other hand, I guess that boys would suddenly start doing a lot better in school, since the whole "testosterone scrambled brain" and "girl problems" are the main hurdles they face during puberty. Another commenter talked about how this pill, while lowering aggression, would just make boys more passive aggressive, like women, but I don't think this is how it would work. It protects the relevant neurons in the brain from testosterone, and I'm not sure the neurons governing the kind of behaviors we deem "passive aggressive" (like gossiping, rumor mongering, all the indirect aggression stuff psychologists have already established girls do more) are that relevant to male aggression. Girls already have the levels of aggression and sex drive this pill would lower men to, and do all that stuff more anyway, so it's probably cultural, or biologically unrelated to testosterone levels, meaning men wouldn't pick up the behavior once they were on the pill. They would, instead, just be less aggressive over all, and less geared towards sex.

All in all, I think this pill would be a net loss for women. It would probably just create an incredibly strong patriarchy, as almost all of the biological downsides of being a modern man would be removed, while most of the biological downsides of being a woman would remain. Teen boys would be a lot less distracted by girls during school, and would have the source of most of their "puberty woes" removed cheaply and effectively, while teen girls would just continue on as normal. And men wouldn't even notice any negatives when it comes to the pill, because I'm guessing part of having a lower sex drive would be not wanting to have a higher one. Plus it would just make the dating market harder for women, as almost all of the "tactics" I've gotten used to using in my short life are almost all based on either attracting an approach from a guy I like, or enticing a guy I know and like to make a move; if less guys felt like approaching, less girls would have boyfriends, while the same number of girls would still want boyfriends. But at the same time, I'm guessing the few relationships that did occur would be of a much higher emotional quality?

All in all, as woman, while I would appreciate how much safer the wide-spread use of this pill would make the world for me, I'm not certain the overall affect it would have on the world would actually be good for gender equality.
