Depends on where you live, for example after the Fukushima nuclear meltdown and when the disaster zone literally has no power to enforce laws, you still have survivors lining up for aid and helping each other.

The question of human morality in the absence of law is always an interesting topic. Let's flip it around and ask Is there currently sufficient morals to defend the male gender's right in the absence of laws protecting said right? I'll say look at society's treatment of men right now, and you'll get your answer to what happens when laws are also removed to protect women's rights.

If you could keep politics and griping about college campuses out of this thread that would be way cooler.

Politics and college campus are very important part of our society and I don't see why that should be left from the discussion. It's akin to talking about women's right around the world, but let's leave out Saudi Arabia and Sharia Laws.

I don't think it would be as bad as you paint it. Some people will take advantage of the situation(I don't mean this in a positive way), most others will keep things the way they are and/or defend the women in this terrible predicament.

What's the point of this post? I have similar protections to stop a stronger/smarter man stealing my resources, and they do decrease the chances of this happening. Laws are created for a reason.

Laws are created by the majority so that we can keep moral outsiders in check. Remove the laws and such people will still be moral outsiders. We'll still do everything we can to prevent them from acting outside of the majority's morals. We might shame them, we might fight them, we might enact laws to keep them in check.

I disagree with your logic. Decline means "going down". Going from 100% to 99% is a decline of 1%. However, declining to 99% means there is still a very large effect.

Your post is one which overestimates the whole gender wars/pill stuff we all talk about.

Most men are white knights and will leap to the defense of any damsel in distress, even if she's the CEO of the company. Most women are more or less functioning individuals who work, play, dress, eat, shit, fuck, and sleep.

Most men will marry women who aren't sexually attracted to them and have ho hum marriages with 1.6 kids. Most women will fuck hot guys until they're around 27, then marry the schlubby guy who'll still date them, pump out their one designer kid, treat him like shit, divorce him, and hop back on the carousel.

Most men and women will work shitty jobs they hate, get their kids raised, and then live increasingly disconnected lives.

In other words, life will go on pretty much like it does now. Because the laws prohibiting "discrimination", "abuse" and "harassment" are part of our culture now. If those laws went away, the culture would remain.

So you can stop crying about how the sky is falling now, Chicken Little.

By nature and en masse, human beings are primarily self-interested and self-serving, so are inclined to take some advantage of a personally favourable situation if it is in their interests to do so. Removing laws that restrict men or women, will result in some percentage of both demographics taking advantage of that. Similarly, introducing laws that advantage either, will result in the same.

It’s obviously hard to determine who would behave more unfairly, but I think that men tend to have more sympathy for women than women have for men, due to evolutionary factors, biology, women’s neotenic features and their evident vulnerability. Research has shown that men care more about women than women care about men. Moreover, it even shows that men care more about women than they do about other men. So, in the event that some men took advantage of the removal of legal protections for women, there would likely be other men there to challenge them. Historically, many men have been heavily involved in the advancement of women’s rights and protections. Even before the women's liberation movement, there was also chivalry.

Men are not brutes. They have empathy, compassion and have historically sought to protect women during more primitive eras.

You're concerned with divorce courts, laws about paternity tests, etc.; you think changing the laws can free you from submission to female nature, but that is not the case. You would still be the same beta you are even under different laws.
Most people who read this forum anyway are probably young and not so concerned with the laws, with the feminist movement. They want to know about women. These things you talk about don't come up in their lives, not yet. Yet women still shit on their heads; as girlfriends, often without their realizing it. You can get rid of feminism, you can have any laws you want. Women will still shit on your head. And you won't even know they're doing it. I'm here to aware you brah.

If we removed all laws, society would collapse. We can see many historical examples of this from when large armies invaded a hostile city. The women in the cities don't fare that well. Look what Soviet men did to the women in Berlin.

Also interesting to note that men loot like crazy when law and order breaks down. How many days do you think it would take for riots to form if grocery stores instantly went empty? How many days have any of you reading this went without eating? By the third day of not eating, you will become very violent to feed you and your family. This is a pointless post because your starting from an irrational basis.

Your essentially believing no attitudes have changed toward women despite women gaining equal civil rights to men, engaging in many careers (over 30% of women are doctors compared to 0% before), and having higher enrollment then men in college.

Your stating nothing can convince your sexism has lessened or changed, hence you will always believe the same sexism will exist.

Here is one attempt of mine: The laws you speak of were in essence voted for by a democratic system of people, and would not be voted for if people weren't less sexist than they used to be. For example, if America passed a constitutional ratification to overturn the 2nd amendment, this could only result from a massive change in attitude toward guns.

So the flaw in your logic is your not considering the laws are reflective of the will of the people.

Because in the former case, you'd have to remove almost all laws, because most laws benefit men and women. Most people here (aside from the hardcore liberatrians/anarchists) will have no problem with those laws.

The latter case might be more interesting, but removing those certainly wouldn't result in an overnight collapse.

But if the OP comes to pass and we live in a world that is magically the same in every way, except women aren't legally protected humans, but all other laws exist, then women would essentially be talking cattle.

The laws were passed because a majority of men passed these laws. So I doubt anything would change since there would still be a majority
