New Hampshire State Representative Robert Fisher (R-Laconia) recently confirmed that he made statements on the internet that have been connected to the reddit account that founded TRP. One common bit of commentary I've seen in response is "Wait, this guy isn't a basement-dwelling 400-pound troll?" And he's not. He's not a male model, but he's not some hideous, overweight slob, either. He's not some multi-millionaire business mogul, but he owns what's apparently a reasonably successful company. He's not a social savant, but he's personable and sociable enough to get elected to a state-level political office. In short, he's far from some omega loser, and he's probably above-average in most measurable ways (remember, 62% of Americans have less than $1,000 in their savings account, if they have an account at all.

In the past, we've seen blue pillers routinely claim that they can pick red pillers out in real life; that red pillers must have "tells," or that they must wear their thoughts about women on their sleeves, or that even if they tried to keep their views private they'd eventually seep out. Here are a couple of blue pillers making that very claim today. But the life of Robert Fisher is a pretty stark counterpoint: Here we have the guy who founded TRP, yet he apparently passed as normal enough to be reasonably successful in (a client-facing) business and politics.

So what gives, blue pillers? Have any of you changed your minds about your ability to spot a red piller in real life? If you haven't, how do you explain Robert Fisher? How was he able to build a business and win a state election while being "obviously" so sexist and misogynistic?
