When you initiate a conversation with a woman anywhere other than a dating site (so in real life or online through FB or snapchat or whatever) but she is not interested in sex or a relationship, would you rather her

a) Be friendly, continue the conversation, etc.

b) keep answers short, dismissive, or simply not respond at all

I have seen complaints from both sides. With option A, some men complain that they are being led or ""friendzoned"". With option B, some men complain that women treat them like they are invisible or even think of ugly men as less than human.

From some personal experience, I have been guilty of both of these complaints. As a caring person, I have always tried to include some of the more introverted or socially awkward people in my social life which has led to some guys developing romantic feelings and then blaming me for leading them on. I have also had someone blatantly hit on me (offered to buy me a drink, I refused, then he asked what I was doing later and I told him I wasn't interested in hanging out) and got called a bitch.

So, red pillers, what is a lady to do?

Follow up: How can a caring person know if a guy is just lonely and wants another human being to talk to, or if he is specifically looking for a woman to talk to/build a relationship with?

From the perspective of trying to decrease male suicides/depression, it would make sense that the red pill would encourage men who reach out to be helped (so option A), right?
