I know a few women who are/ were in the sex trade. Every single one comes from a broken household, suffers from severe alcohol and drug abuse and have a cocktail of mental health issues from BPD to straight up schizophrenia.

I don't doubt that some women are healthy in body and mind, but those are few and far between.

If you have to resort to selling your body to get money, something is not right in the head.

Camming isn't really the same as sugaring. Sugaring is prostitution with a thin veneer of a relationship. Camming is taking money from guys who you'll never meet, much less be expected to have sex with.

I'm dating a cam girl, we talked about it before she got into it, I don't feel like it violates our relationship at all. They're both "softer" forms of sex work that aren't as risky for the woman as straight up hooking/stripping. With sugaring you only have one or two clients who are expected to treat you very well, whereas with escorting you have many clients who can get nasty. With stripping you have to get hired by a club, work long hours, and deal with rowdy guests, whereas with camming you're just taking your clothes off and jerkin' it in your bedroom same as any Tuesday night.
If it was my daughter or sister doing it I'd be concerned due to the stigma attached and other risks involved.
I don't think it will affect or has affected much of anything.

I think it's fine. People should be free to make money however they want as long as they aren't hurting anyone's person or property. In some senses it's nice to have so much free spank material on the internet. In others, it would probably be better for society if people engaged in more productive actions.

There's no real way to know this. I don't think it would make that big of a difference in the general population but I guess I could be wrong if it became very widespread. I'd like to see figures on what percentage of sexually active women participate.

Yes to the former, no to the latter. I'm not trying to judge anyone for past indiscretions, as I don't want anyone to judge me for mine, which are many. That being said, my experience of sex with another person is usually intimate, so I don't think I could be with someone who didn't share my views on that or, even worse to my mind, didn't think that sex was an act of intimacy.

In a free society women should have the right to have or not have sex with any other consenting adult. Women have the right to show their bodies as cam girls, that is their right. So from that perspective I support it.

Now having said that I don't understand why a guy would pay a cam girl. Doesn't appeal to me at all. Why spend hundreds on some cam girl when you can pay that amount to a sugar baby. The two professions are not similar whatsoever, I am not sure why you are lumping them together. A cam girl gets naked and you can see her over the internet and mastrubate or whatever.
