i can wait for sex, but only for so long. women really need to understand that sex is a NEED for most men with a healthy sex drive. it's like hunger and thirst. we have a nagging urge for it, so we will want to have sex badly even when the conditions aren't perfect for great sex. "ok sex" is much preferable to no sex at all for an extended period.

an analogy: I'd like to go to a nice mexican restaurant every time i eat, but i get hungry multiple times day so i will settle for making a quesadilla at home or going to taco bell. i can't wait until i have the time to go to a good mexican restaurant every because i'd be very malnourished. eating mediocre food is better than starving. i also don't want to wait until the conditions and context are perfect for sex because I'M HORNY ALL THE DAMN TIME AND IT DRIVES ME CRAZY.

i think this is very important for the average woman to understand if they want to have happy relationships with men. there's a reason why the term "maintenance sex" for husbands exists.

I would respond the way you said a majority of women would. The first option for every choice. I am very sure this is really what most people in general want. Unless you are trying to stroke your ego about how hot you are sleeping with women who dont know what you like is definitely a compromise. Plus its definitely much more fun when I know just how to play with my partner.

Both of these are good. First time is fun, exploration, adventure. After some events, knowledge and comfort is gained. The real downside is after hundreds or thousands of events, then it sags. So to speak.

1) Depends on how good the sex was before and what direction the quality is moving in. Mediocre sex that is getting better is more exciting than hot sex that is getting progressively worse.

4) Depends on what sort of "period" you are talking about. If you are talking about a matter of hours or days where there is a flirtatious build up then ok, but on the scale of weeks or months because you are in an LDR or at the beginning of a relationship where she is making me wait. . .it is more pleasurable to travel with anticipation than it is to arrive. It's just never worth the wait in terms of sex.

The modern, romantic conventional wisdom states that for women, sex is all about love and emotions and feeling close to the person and whatnot. But we live in a culture where many women are openly promiscuous during their college years and do the exact opposite of what the conventional wisdom says women do. Contrary to the stereotypes, women are not all "just following their hearts" so they can "find the one" but end up sleeping with jerks along the way because "they didn't know any better" or "they were used."

Which goes to show that when women have high SMV and a lot of choice, they will often choose to ruin themselves by being stuffed by jocks rather than look for "the one."

So I guess what I am saying is that if you wonder what type of sex women find the most exciting/ prefer, eschew that romantic nonsense that says that women's sexuality is all about love and intimacy and look around at what young, hot women are actually doing.

Doesn't make much of a difference. The major difference is that after you've already had sex with them multiple times you probably know what to expect, so the thrill of anticipation of the unknown is usually not that strong.

No difference, men have evolved to usually compartmentalize very strongly, and that evolutionary strategy is universally the dominant one in all cultures.

Men who don't want variety exist, as do nymphomaniacs, and homosexuality exists. None are close to dominant.

I don't think this has much to do with libido. I think people feel the same way about food and other pleasures. Some people would rather be served immediately when they get into the restaurant. Some people prefer the ritual of ordering and chatting.
