Depends on what you mean by alpha. In my experience, the pill guys are extremely sporadic on what it means to be an "alpha." It's not a term we use in anthropology or social cognition involving humans.

The little term thing on the sidebar describes "alpha" as:

Somebody who displays high value, or traits that are valued by women.

In which case it would be really hard to actually define.

Guys who get shit done. We can sit around bitching about something but it serves the purpose of formulating a plan. Then we go out and destroy the problem.

I generally cant stand weak ass people who just want to bitch about stuff and not solve anything.

Not really. Once you swallow the Blue Pill (heh) and realize that all of this "alpha/beta" hierarchy stuff doesn't really have to apply to you if you don't want it to. "alphas" just seem like ordinary people, just like everybody else.

No, not at all, in fact these people just come off as pathetic to me. If you don't respect their "power" or weaken them in any way, they flounder. Its not really that had to do with a guy who is always trying to frame everyone.

I don't like using you guys's terminology, but if I have to, the "Gamma" and "Omega" people are the one's who earn my respect, you cannot fuck with these people, they are beyond the pettiness of society.

Everyone I know is an "alpha" in some way or another. Not everyone is good-looking, or successful, or confident; but they have AT LEAST 2 out of 3, or I wouldn't pay them much attention, so the Red Pill archetype IMO doesn't actually exist. This shit is subjective as fuck anyway.

To the best of my knowledge, none of them spend hours on manosphere sites because they're too busy being awesome. So in essence: no, not remotely intimidated by "alpha males".

Nah. I mean I'm a pretty ballsy chick so I'm not intimidated, but most of what I see described as alpha to me reads as unreliable, hedonistic, irresponsible, and in general just the type of guy who I don't really care to spend time with.

Point 1: define alpha male. My answer is based on the assumption that we're talking about my specific version of an alpha male. And that answer is: no. That's exciting and attractive and fun being around an alpha male. It's intimidating, but in a good way. Not the kind of intimidating that makes me want to run away at all. Quite the opposite.

Alpha females? That's a lot trickier. Women know female game, and most of them are straight, so it's not really possible to use it on them. Sometimes I think this goes for the opposite as well - the way some men can't seem to be around an alpha male without disliking him/feeling competitive. It's because it's a 'you have no power here!' situation a lot of the time. What am I supposed to do with an alpha female? I don't know. If she suuuper alpha maybe I'll just get a straight-girl crush on her and be all flirty and worshipful. That's happened before. Alpha personalities exist in women, too, and they seem to have something of the same effect on me. Although the sexual aspect of it is very dulled if it's a woman, I can still feel a weird kind of respect-attraction that would lead me to have sex with her, if only in a 'you're so cool, I'll do whatever you want' kind of way rather than that plus 'your dick = the boss of me' thing, which is what it is with certain man.

People with headstrong personalities (I assume that's what you're referring to) don't intimidate me, but I don't always enjoy being around them.

It's kind of like when a man says "I'm not mean, I'm just honest!" or a woman says "I'm fluent in sarcasm and I like to be blunt." Those types of people are normally very "alpha" in the sense that they domineer a conversation with their loud opinions on things. Am I intimidated? No, but I don't like being around them.

Or, if you're talking about "alpha" as in charismatic, successful, and endlessly charming, my answer is the opposite. I enjoy those kinds of people.

The only people I find intimidating are those who I perceive to represent a threat. Which can mean anything from overt actions to ingrained stereotypes about how people dress and look. The latter being impulses I moderate and keep discreet because they are rarely appropriate. Not that I advertise any concerns of this matter openly.

I have generally found them to be more annoying than intimidating, but A+ (alpha-positive) men are inspiring. In embracing my sigma nature, I have no problem befriending or competing with alpha types. The thing is, I have my own version of the Cassandra Syndrome where I am completely aware of their bullshit but can't convince others of it.

Alpha as its often used, yes sometimes, because its often used to mean physically intimidating and aggressive.

Well, I had a friend who could be considered alpha, and while I normally don't like these kind of guys, we had a common hobby, writing. He tended to be enormously protective to me, to the point that once, when I told him XY (other guy, more a friend of a friend) talked trash behing my back and how annoyed I was that this guy couldn't man up and complain to me in person, he got damn angry.

Fast forward me and my friend meet X alone in the uni, me friend literally grabbed X at the neck, holds him off his feet against the wall and screams "If you insult (my name) again, you gonna get problems with me, understood?" I was terrified to say the least. I mean, I knew that my friend hit the gym and is extremely proud of his strength, but it's one thing to hear his bragging and to wittness it in person. I only thought, when he could do that with a grown ass man, what could he do to me if he would ever get angry with me?

I knew he was just trying to protect me, but since I had never seen something like that outside of tv, it scared the hell out of me, and after he told me that's how he solves most of his problems with other men, I slowly cut any contact I had with him.

TL;DR: Guy X talked shit about me, I wanted to confront him but my male friend thought it was better to beat him up. I've no contact to him (ex-friend) since then.

Yes. I have befriended several of what I would call Alpha Males IRL and was intimidated AF by them early on every time, and frequently at other times. In fact they frequently will keep you on edge. You really never know when they are going to do something crazy like, at 15 years old, beat the shit out of some kids Dad for yelling at us building BMX ramps in the wrong place, etc.

Yes, sometimes. I'm not likely to want to be around anyone who looks like they often raise their voice. Yelling is an immediate hard next with me, not just for dating, just even being around them.
