Extremists on both sides will prevent any movement to the middle. And even an attempt will usually fall into a round of bickering over details. It's an interesting thought, but trying to moderate two viewpoints, especially when even those within those viewpoints can't agree on what they mean, is largely doomed to fail.

Especially considering how much bile gets vented when it comes to stereotyping and the like. However, I would like to see a bit less.. cynicism in the posts here. That's certainly a nice thing to push for. The number of topics I skip due to the obvious leading, baiting tone of them and lack of actual intent to debate has grown of late. Why waste one's time dealing with yet another gotcha trap?

The thing is, Bloopers will never tolerate the politically incorrect angle that TRP comes from with it's amorality and pragmatism, for example TRP doesn't exactly condemn cheating, advocates plate-spinning, employing dread game, and overall assuming selfishness. TRP has no problem with these things because they see life through pragmatic lens, whatever works and gets the results you want is the method that should be deployed.

Blue Pill is more about the feelz: you shouldn't want to spin-plates, you shouldn't 'manipulate' women into having sex with you, you shouldn't "game" women, you shouldn't be so detached from women...you need to get to know each individual woman and not let anyone else tell you otherwise, you don't want to hookup with random women at the bar, you should want to establish a solid relationship with women...

I don't think there can be a "middle ground" because even there's agreement on some issues RPers and BPers essentially want different things: RPers basically want viable and consistent results for themselves..they want to know what works and what's effective at producing results, if that means having to break some hearts then so be it, they mostly aren't too concerned with forming LTRs because they don't exactly want LTRs, they want to have sex with a variety of women without any major holds.

I think people should develop a viewpoint that acknowledges the main biological differences in mating strategy and sexual preferences between men and women without a heavy distrust of the opposite sex that I see common in both feminists and TRPers. the fact that women are predominantly attracted to only a small percentage of dominant men doesn't mean they can't be professionally or intellectually proficient even though as whole they can't reach the same level of men.

Newsflash: there is no middle ground.

People are always trying to find a "middle ground" between The Red and Blue Pills - mostly because they feel like TRP has valuable insights, but is too "extreme for their liking".

If you have ever found yourself offended by the tone of RP philosophy, then you have not understood its purpose, and you are not ready for it.

TRP's extremism serves a specific and necessary function - it is a permanent facet of the philosophy.

And TBP's own "extremism" is a symmetrical mockery of TRP's tone. It's a distorted carnival mirror held up to something that bloopers don't like.

TRP doesn't need apologists. Thanks but no thanks.

I agree with this, but mostly from a Redpill lens.

Generally speaking, the Redpill enshrines reductionism and Occam's Razor, but definitely misses the ball (sometimes, depends on the TRPer) on the value of individual complexities.

I remember reading somewhere that Nature values adaptability above equilibrium, formlessness over homogeneity, etc. Basically, a species that doesn't change with the times, goes extinct. Humans dominate the world because we change the best and fastest via massive cooperation networks, awesome eusocial behavior, and so on. However, this doesn't suddenly mean women and men exist in a mass state of total chaos, complexity, and endless individuality. Therein lies the BP weakness.

RP reduces too much, falling into dichotomous black-and-white, win-or-die competitive beliefs. Very authoritarian and hierarchical. But they are consistent or at least try to be. They accept harsh realities or - hell -invent them to keep themselves strong and vigilant. One thing I love about RP is that they at least seek out a model of reality to fit the experience of many men without too much hand-waving and political correctness.

On the other hand, BP prizes itself on its inherent anti-reductionism and individualism. That's why they hate being categorized as having this set of beliefs or that set of attitudes. That's why they also hate "all women are like this" or even - not today but maybe in the future - "all men are like that." BP calls bullshit on the whole idea of a definite pattern and approach to human behavior. Life's complex. Everyone's different, and everyone wants something different in life. Not all men want to bang a new HB10 every week and not all women will sleep with Chad Thundercock if given the chance.

RP is to order and prediction as BP is to chaos and variability.

Therefore a synthesis would be a chaotic order or an ordered chaos. A paradox of some kind, perhaps consisting of an endless PurplepillDebate...

Majority view... in this specific community? Because nobody takes this bullshit seriously outside of this subreddit. And I'm not particularly keen on swallowing any pill-based philosophies.
