I think that history of cheating is a lot more important. A high N without a history of cheating only means that either she is very sex positive or that she has had a lot of bad relationships.

By counting the number of ex bfs, you can put an upper limit on the answer to 1, if you have answer to 2.

N count. With that, I can extrapolate the likelihood that she has cheated or is likely to cheat. Whether she has cheated is the more important information, but By being told her N count, I can estimate a bigger body of info.

If I had to choose: history of cheating. Overall, of the two that one is the bigger concern, and is more likely to give a good idea of morality over a simple N.

However, for the record, my N discussions include talk about previous cheating. Usually after the number is discussed, as part of the "how she got that N" part of investigation. ;-)

I would say cheating. i really only care about in in relation to them being honest. i'm poly and it is still very much possible to cheat in poly set up so i would want to know the person i am dating is being forthright. n count i really dont care about at all. whether she has fucked 1000 or one i assume apriori she is with me for reason and she didn't just trip and fall on my cock. It nice trivia but not information i value at all beyond trivia. the cheating though i would want to know simply becuase i want to knwo the person iam dating is honest.
